Hey everyone sorry I havent posted but I have been busy somehow in real life which made me currently unavailable to write here! Although my routine is back I guess...
Supposedly Mel (bluegreen86) started the whole raffle to win a code if you vote me covergirl, looks like most of the stardoll member's dreams is to be covergirl, and some dont get to be covergirl, so they write on their presentation to vote, and if you vote write you did in that person's guestbook so they get entered to a raffle to get a code for a superstar! :D unfortunatly you need luck and I think people shouldnt do that, covergirls are meant to be pretty and get votes from people who like their suites and outfits... Even though Mel's outfits are amazing so are kasia's and some other people, who are non superstar as well!

Well people only win covergirl by asking alot of people to votes, because you need around 700 votes. So what I did was I mailed all my friends asking for them to consider voting for me, and in return if they did I would be having a raffle for the girls who voted! I see that as a win-win situation! :D

Today I've seen that kind of text in so many users' presentations. Kind of ridiculous, but oh well...

I agree Mel, they would vote you if you gave them something in return! but you make so pretty outfit :O its upsetting to see you not being covergirl everyday :S

I agree with that however Mel did deserve and in my opinion a cgirl should be beautifull as Mel, so if we superstars decided to give the opportunity to someone the chance to be superstar, thts really awsome. I think tht wht Mel did was very nice bc someone will have the opportunity to be superstar. Remember tht many users cant be superstars. So if i was non superstar i never loose this opportunity.
i so agree.. some people dont have codes so others are winning because their voters want something in return.. it should be about who u really think deserves something..

the thing is, although a lot of people 'bribe' with codes, people still get to make the decision whether to vote or not. Personally, I would only vote for someone I think deserve covergirl, code or no code, and on this occasion I did vote for Mel. I think she worked really hard to get it, and I'm so glad she achieved her dream. Her outfits are amazing, her medoll is stunning and her suite is fantastic so for me she was the perfect covergirl.

mel really deserved to win covergirl.
it is a good marketing techinque to offer codes for covergirl, but it's not really winning for the right reasons. covergirls are supposed to be the ones with the nicest suites and, even though not everyone can get loads of stardollars for a perfect suite or medoll, people who barely have anything in their suite still win.
i've been a member of stardoll since november 2006 and i haven't won once, yet there are some people who i've seen who've been a member for about a year who've won about 5 times! =[
not that i'm saying they don't deserve it, but it isn't fair on those like me who haven't won before.

Everyone wants to be covergirl, and if you arn't well known, you probally wont be covergirl caus you hardly get any visits!
All the popular people (Keira-V, emorox4eva..ect) gets lots of hits daily and people like me get hardly any. Its just a way to get noticed and get their stardoll dream to come true. I have no problem with it. :]
Covergirl is a hoax. You believe it's based on votes?
There are so many members on Stardoll, I don't think they have time to see who has the most votes. Hence the reason sometimes people with no pants win!! You honestly think they got a lot of votes when they are half-naked?
Stardoll just chooses any member to win, you have to be lucky to one of those random members!
I believe they used to be based on votes, but once they started having sooo many members, like 10 million they stopped.
Actually, Meepzio started the whole scenerio a few months ago.
Anyways, a person still needs to make a decision to vote or not. It's not like the people offering incentives for voting are holding a gun to your head, forcing you to vote. (:

I completely agree, I always vote people when theres a prize, it's so tempting!!
But I usually just vote people anyway when I like their suites.
And I don't want to bribe people into voting me, if they want to vote me then vote.
But people are very mean, they always have ultimatums just to press a button! So I understand when people give prizes to vote.
I think it's fair, because, she has nice outfits anyway x]
