This is really unfair of SD.. I'm from finland and the one month ss used to be 2 euros, now 3 weeks is 4 euros.. so they doupled it.. :o

Jenna, they've changed the way of paying here in the Netherlands (EU) a while ago. I had a code, but nowhere on the site to put it. I've contacted them and they got me the 50sd that code was worth.
I don't know if this information is usefull at all, but I just thought I'd share it.. Because I was in the same position as you, only they replied to me after I explained the situation a second time.

It's so annoying!! Before, I could get 2 month SS for £3, but now 2 weeks is £2.50! It's really annoying! They took codes for Great Britain away at the beginning of 2010, so we can't purchase them at all. This puts me in a real dilemma when I need to give codes for competitions held on my blog or in my clubs, so I definitely know how you feel! I don't get Stardoll. I swear, they get a ton of money from us becoming SS and Stardollars, so they try to make more by raising prices, when in fact, their prices go down! Think about it. If they keep raising their prices, noone will want to buy anything, regardless of the reward which comes with it!
And Jenna, it aint your fault if people don't read the stuff you post. I don't get why Dowe5 didn't just change her country to US on the part where you buy and then see for herself. It would have saved you (and her) all the trouble!
I hope Stardoll brings codes back...ASAP! I have sent them another message-both through email account and Stardoll account-but I don't think they'll reply, especially as they didn't reply or do anything about yours...
And if we win $100sd, and we want the Stardollars, does that mean we give you the password to our account? Cause tbh, I wouldn't really mind. I know that you wouldn't hack, and I know that you can be trusted!

I'm from Croatia, and I can't pay ss membership with credit card (and we have no option of phone code) so my only option is mobile phone. 1 code before worth 1 month of ss, but now for same price I've payed before I get half less time of ss membership, 2 weeks. It became obviously that they only care about making more and more money. They're so unfair!
How can she not understand that, plus you did have a few posts about the code thing. I'm from the states, and they have taken that amount out. Stardoll should bring back more paying options.

check up on internet laws, I have a very very strong feeling that it's illegal to do that (taking away payment options without notice and then making you unable to cash in previously payed sums) I hope Stardoll come to their senses and see they're probably losing more customers than money gained with all this ridiculous payment changes. I would start up a strike or something if I were you, I'd be happy to cancel my SS to help out :)

I don't know dowe5 so I don't want to judge her or criticise her but I am in pretty much the exact same situation and I could fully understand this, I knew there was nothing to do except email stardoll(no reply btw, typical) and I don't see the point of accusing Jenna of something that is it out of her hands.
p.s. I agree with Hunnigall. It's probably illegal for Stardoll to suddenly stop the phone codes with absolutely no warning.

They just emailed and set the service provider shut down the 900#??? Oh and sd_is_da_best yours is a little different as the system said the code was invalid even though that is the code they gave me on their 900 line. Its probably all related though.

yea i realised this when i was going to give a code as a prize, i tried everythingg.. and found its impossible to get a code anymore, then i was forced to buy sd at the ridiculous prices of £3 for 70sd??
it used to be £1.50 for a 1 month and 50sd code :/
and when they send u a text it says 'FREE MSG' but check ur cred and ull find like 50p gone! jheeze
and slyy stardoll put 1 option ONLY for the phone options so if its your only possible way to purchase then you are forced to buy for that amount :(

I used to use those phone codes all the time for my other account. Now I have to pay $10 a month instead of $4.
It's a rip off when you get the same amount of money & don't get weekly allowances anymore :(

it really sucks. I dont like wasting my money on stardoll stuff. But they bring in new stuff all the freakin time. So they make money because the stuff is nice and they know people will fall for it. Well..should i say i hate kids.
but sometimes when someone wins something so big they fear anything happens to it and it vanish at anytime..
there has never been any 100 code thing they changed the 10.00 codes for 2 weeks to 6.99 for 4 weeks though :)
