Ok so for some reason our top comments widget stopped working!!!So.. I have been searching the internet for a new one and I had problems finding one that will show. Anywho, I found this one (on the left side-bar), but if you notice it seems to do ALL comments not just the last 500. I'm not sure if I like that or not as it will make it harder on new comers. What do you think?
If anyone can find another widget that will work on blogger or you know how I can change the html to just do the last 500 comments then let me know.

Oh. I know what you mean... yeah, the newcomers would never get enough comments in even if they did comment on every post once.

Oh wow... I'm a top commentor. I think that is evidence I spent too much time on here, not enough time on school work haha.
I agree, new comers will have lots of difficulties becoming a top commentor without spamming. But if this is all there is, it is good =)

Personally I think it will be a bit unfair since I discovered this blog alittle later.... Plus since it's this months member of the month it would be cool if there were a widget just for this month
Its deffinitely nice to see the people who have commented the most in HB-Bazaar history haha but since your doing it for a monthly tab on votes it probably will not be as useful! Ill try to find one :D
i think its good. if someone is determined enough they can go back and comment OLDER TOPICS... it makes sense. i say, keep it.

I plan to have 2. This will more help me with member of the month. Since it is more based on your history with the blog.
Katielove1- no they can't comment older posts because that is against the rules. I will not approve anything older than the 1st page. Also not multiple comments in a post. Everyone should be able to say what they need in 1 post.

I must say though, I have seen one person commenting twice on many posts. I don't think it is fair.

kool i like it better this way cuz when it counts to 500 it keeps changing and when your on the list you disappear the next day! lol
Myey, it's true that with this widget the new comers doesn't get really the change. And it's also hard because if 2_cutecarla will still post on every message, no one will ever be first (so i'd say; 2_cutecarla, stop being active! x'D (you probactly know that that was a joke). But i'll be looking for a widget that works.

I know what you mean about newcomers, but then with the last widget that was also not the best, because it was more about when you commented on the post. At least this one shows dedication from older members - perhaps you could keep this one and like Paolapaopao said, one for just the month would be even better, and fairer on newcomers. Yeah, two would be great :)
