Don't add anyone if the message reads 'Hiee! Lurvee your MeDoll... It's so stylish ;) Wanna be friends?
Somehow those people can get your password if you add them. Getting hacked is not fun, and I don't want it to happen to anyone. So, make sure you are super careful, and if you see anything weird it's probably another was someone can hack into your account.

Well, sorry I'm so boring. It's not exactly easy to sound exciting when I'm writing tips on how not to get hacked. I mean, seriously.
If your a superstar and you get hacked it's like the money you've spent on your account is down the drain, and the rares you have.
And how am I annoying? I'm just trying to be nice, and help everyone.

when i saw the title i thought the post's aim was to give tips to protection against hackers.. not bored little bitches who'll do anything to get some recognition and fame on stardoll, by stealing accounts, or pretending they're "hackers".

This is my blog. I write about what interests an concerns me. I didn't write anywhere near 10 posts about the hacking, but I'm sure there will be more to come as I am updated.
Plz Stop putting down others because obviously there are real hackers out there and Catlyn is just trying to make sure people are aware. She just found out about me being hacked.
Anyway, if it's boring to you. Sorry, but the answer is simple...don't read our blog. I'm sorry that you can't understand that we are going through a transition until I hear from stardoll.
And no its not the end of the world, but I'm not putting anymore money and energy into a site that doesn't protect and reimburse their customers. So we're kinda in limbo.

there are a lot of real hackers, but on stardoll? for real? i'd like to meet one of those.
according to the other blogs, you were the first [?] to get "hacked" by those shit_1234 and tony's mob. it is possible that someone hacked stardoll or found a loophole and used it to get into your account, for some reason. it is also possible that someone hacked your computer, because once they're in it, they can do whatever they want, including recording whatever you type, or view your saved passwords [do you save your passwords on your pc??]. it is also possible that someone saw you while you were typing your password, or that you went to a phishing website, or that you're using the same password for another websites, and someone who you know in real life knows it. or that you wrote your passwords somewhere, and your jealous friend/sibling decided to trick/avenge you for whatever reason. it is also possible that someone used password cracking programs to get your password.
oh and on another blog there was something about "chatting with the hacker", if its not on stardoll's chat then im sorry to tell you your computers was hacked, in that case scan your cocanimputer with anti-virus and remove the trojans.
fucking hell those little girls are crazier than a schizophrenic-paranoid old man, everyday there's a fresh new conspiracy, the "glitches", the gift dresses, and now this shit.

AC Viper- IDK how I was hacked. I never said anything about those friend req or the italian mafia thing. First time I saw that was when Dan posted it on Perez. I just took it as a possible theory since we all get messages like that.
I would just think that if they hacked my computer other things would have been hacked like bank accounts, paypal, other accounts that I have. Why only stardoll..
There is a security feature on my pc that does not allow me to save passwords. Also I am notified when I am going to a site that has a threat, but I pretty much stick to msn,stardoll, wordpress & blogger.
No possibility at all of anyone seeing my pass. I'm never on around others. And the only person who has my pass is my mom. My brother just turned 7 and doesn't even remember the pass or id to his own account.
But thanks, I understand what you are saying. To me the most likely thing is that someone figured out the pass with some kind of program.
I still think think that stardoll could have way better security. The account should be locked after like 5 wrong password attempts or something and another safty feature like a question before things can be sold. Idk. My bank account always does that and if I were hacked there the bank would reimburse me.

One more thing that is really weird. When I went to my account screen the email said confirmed. It was a fake email address emorox4eva@mail.it (I think)
I thought initially that they must have accessed my email, but when I logged on i found out that my email had been deactivated because I hadn't used it in 120 days. This was just an email for stardoll.
So how can they confirm without accessing my email?
the whole italian mob thing is a total crap. according to the friend requests i get half of stardoll are my fans..
its too risky for someone who hacks a computer to mess with bank accounts, because if they wanted to transfer money to their bank accounts or by stuff online it will be very easy to find them. anyways you better update your anti virus and perform a full scan to your computer.
i tried to enter my account with wrong password several times and nothing happened, which means people with password cracking programs can keep their pc running for at least 1 week and find my password.. locking the account is not a good idea, because then many accounts will be locked - many whores try to guess other members' passwords and sometimes even send requests to change the password. but i do think they should ask for a word verification after several failed attempts to enter an account. i wanted to mail stardoll about that but i was too lazy [and sleepy - its 5 am now]

if that mail is valid then they probably sent a request to stardoll to send a verification link.
but i really wonder, if they hacked stardoll, why not messing with the "famous" members who are featured in every blog posts or those who write for the stardoll mag?

There's someone distributing the Trojan Horse virus on Stardoll. THe virus can get your personal information on Stardoll. But not only that, it can get into your computer's database and control your computer. Eventually, your computer will crash.
They leave the message in other languages. I have a request from Jasmine_1044 but in spanish :/
