So as I mentioned previously I am away this week. Any outstanding comps/round competitions will be put on hold until next week and I can judge them. I will post the next round of design wars if I have the chance.
In the mean time, I wanted to try something a little different.
The new floor of Villa has inspired me to do suite competition. I hope you guys like it! It's called.... Win This Room!

Create your best Villa inspired room. To me it represents more of the sort of island, beach, getaway theme so that's what I would like to see reflected in your entries.

There will be both a Superstar and Non-Superstar winner.

This is my room. It's very simple, actually i like simple rooms. The majority of the furniture is SC or free.

I wanted to redecorate one of my rooms for a longer time now, so here it goes. It's not really beachy, but this is how I would decorate my villa. I love light rooms, that are not filled with bunch of furniture, so I made it very simple. I tried to use furniture that looks expensive, but isn't too tacky, because that's how I imagine a villa.
Showing this just for fun, I'm not actually entering the competition, tho. Good luck everyone.

As a Non-SS, I tend to create just simple sceneries. (The same goes for my outfits.)
Most of the stuff in this room are either SC things or freebies.

I'm not very good at creating new rooms inside our rooms...new walls, floors, extra divisions...I'm more of a flat (surface) decorator.
I also don't have many cozy, villa like decors so I guess this one will have to do :)

Here's my entry. I tried to combine the getaway- and summervocationfeeling with everydayitems. As you can see it's a room of a villa near a big city, so I tried to keep this contrast between city and beach/country in the decoration. Hope you like it;) Yours, Nora

This is my simple getaway I've created a while ago. I'm totally in love with the interior, I can imagine myself living in a house with such a nice view on a forest.
Anyway, I think this release is very very nice, I like the color scheme and the quality. However, I think it was such a lame idea to "re-release" those 2 items, I hope the staff won't commit such thing in the future.
My getaway feeling is an appertment next to the beach but I didn´t get the beach house in one pic I´m sorry It´s one room!!!
I can relax at home or feel free to do watersports like swimming surfing diving or just take a sunbath at the beach!!

My interior is my old beach *garden/outdoor. I will love to have a place like that. I decorated with a lot of plants trying to recreated a beach cottage in Polynesia or Caribbean

A few months ago something took over me and I emptied all my rooms because I wanted to redecorate. I still haven't gotten around to do so but still, I'd like to share my favourite room back in a day - it's an embodiment of a dream of mine - to have a nice little coffee and pastry shop where people can grab a book of the shelves and enjoy nice jazz music, relaxing atmosphere and a beautiful view. I'm still not sure if it classifies as a getaway but I really wanted to show it to you guys. :)
P.S.: I'm a royalty and I do not want to take part in the competition - I fully realise someone else could make a better use of the prise then me.
