FRIDAY (DAY 3): Wear a fancy (special occassion/formal) dress and re-work it for daytime.
I love this idea! It's a great way to not let all those gorgeous dresses go to waste. Why only get one wearing out of them?! It's also a great budget saver! The challenge to wearing a fancy dress for daytime is keeping the look tasteful.
Tips & Tricks
- Consider a chic layering piece. A great way to tone down a party dress for day is to add a casual jacket or shirt. If a jacket is too predictable, try a cardigan or your comfiest flannel.
- Find an alternative for your favorite heels. You need to make your look more daytime friendly so ditch the heels. Instead go for something more fun like sandals, sneakers, boots, flats or oxfords.
- Just go for it. Don’t hold back, throw caution to the wind and go for it!
