Many of you may not know me, but you surely know the blog!
It's such an pleasure to be guest blogging here today, so I prepared some things for you on how to get started with your own blogs.
I first joined Stardoll in 2006 and it was pretty much different from now. There weren't many blogs then, and some creative dolls put up incredible magazines using their Stardoll Albums. I think the first huge blog was Style Magazine. It wasn't exactly a blog, but a magazine, and it was (and still is) a huge inspiration for most Stardoll Bloggers. Then Perez Hilton of Stardoll and Hot Buys Heaven led the way. Nowadays there are tons of great blogs, and even some bloggers got to blog in Stardoll Magazine themselves!
So, as you can see, there are many reasons to start a blog, so get started!
When it comes to choosing a website, I adore Blogger.com. It's easy to work with it, and it allows you to change and transform templates really easy. BloggerBuster released some time ago a guide on How To Customize Your Blog (you can donwload it HERE). It's the Bible! It teaches you how to use HTML codes really easy to modify your templates. That's been my secret since I started Seen on Stardoll.
Many have written about the principles of blogging (you know: get a catchy title for your blogs and posts, be creative and all that) but the one rule you must keep in mind always is: CATCH YOUR READERS ATTENTION. Be bold, be original, it's like dressing up! So dress up your blog ;)
