Yes, the designer which stardoll gets a lot of its inspiration from, Balmain. The designer, Christophe Decarnin designs collection after collection of edgy and modern clothing, whether it was spring or fall his collections often are bold and highly fashionable. Balmain was founded in 1945 by french couturier Pierre Balmain. Christophe Decarnin is the current designer, which gave Balmain a little more rock edge,. Balmain then was known for its elegant evening attire, now is known for its modernity and chic details and embellishments.

The outfit Freja is wearing has a very bold color, and a very bold shape. The belt as an accessory is a very chic touch, black along with the golden dress is a very sophisticated choice. The metallic look is very modern and very edgy. The dress on Maryna, is a very sophisticated cocktail dress. The entire black dress with golden embellishment is very modern, very innovative. I love the second dress for its bold look, which shows your curves and makes you look unique in any occasion! The last dress, modeled by one of my favourite models - Constance Jablonski, is a modern touch to red carpet attire. The black is sophisticated, and the belt makes the dress seem edgy and modern. Wonderful creations, I applaud Christophe Decarnin!

Ah, finally! I've been waiting for the Fall ready-to-wear collection ;D I loved it, I have to say. Mostly the dresses and the belts were amazing. I allso liked the fringed things, very fresh :-) I have to say balmain still rocks my socks even if they've kind of went for the same look and style for some time now :) But who gets tired of trendy glam-rock? haha.
Tbh, it looks like an exact replica of their Spring 2009 look. Then again, Balmain do have a pretty unmistakeable style. I adooore the second one in, gorgeous :)

Great collection! Though the dresses all seem to be the same shape as last season ... there is a differance in the look of the pants and jackets. I love the colours and fabric used, beautiful. I am not a fan of the flared pants though.

Love the outfits! I love how to details of each outfit are eye-catching without being inappropriate or trashy. the dress in the middle is my favorite because it seems like a person with any shape, style, height, etc. could pull it off looking fabulous.
eventhough balmain makes great dresses, im so bored with the collection. it's the exact same look we've seen for the last couple of seasons from balmain.

I have to say, season after season of being a close follower, Balmain might be losing their touch. Even though I love what they've invented in the past, maybe it could be time for a new iconic designer for Balmain to step into the spotlight, I can't be sure, but they might lose followers with similar designs season after season.
i like balmain, i especially adore the first dress of this three. he's one of my faves, but it's true that lately the clothes are kinda same...

I really like it. This collection is very striking and fierce. Sharp shoulder and patterns and very bold colors.
Although i have to agree with hunnigall (alice in wonderland) that the spring collection and fall collection look somewhat the same!

Nothing can tear me away from Balmain. Gorgeous pieces time after time, and that includes these clothes. I can't pick a favorite out of them - they all are amazing!
