Stardoll is available in 17 different languages across 230 different places around the world. It has grown immensely since its days as paperdoll heaven!!! I wasn't aware of the site when it was paperdoll heaven so I would love to hear people's views and comparisons on the old and new versions of this virtual fashion heaven!
We are currently on 62,036,210 members so if it keeps growing at this rate, it won't be long until we reach the next milestone of 70 million members. I would love to see what stardoll celebrates with for the 100 million members milestone...my guesses are we still won't get anything special, what do you think?

i heard about stardoll a long time ago, when it was paperdoll heaven. it only had dressup games. then it became stardoll, with a shop and medoll and a suite. in the shop (it wasn't even called starplaza) there was only one store. then there came starbazaar and stardesign, lots of stores etc. with that also came elites. idk if i liked it better then or now.

Wow! I joined in 2007 so I definetly can see the changes! Back then there were no clubs, everyone got one small room, you could not rotate items or make them bigger or smaller. The home page was the celebs that u could dress up, and they had a few games. They only had a few shops, and the clothing graphics were pretty bad. non ss could buy sephora make-up...and that's about all I can remember...but it's a BIG change!

I joined paperdollheaven when medolls didn't even exsist, you chose an avastar of a celebrity and could only save dolls in the album.
It is amazing how much stardoll has developed, from medolls to stardesign to a penthouse, starbazar and so mucho more.

Broadcasts were 3 sd, only about 3 gifts were for superstar only. And the gifts and minishop varied a great deal. I don't remember much, but I know that the layout was different, the medoll section, and the sections under it were completely different also.

I used to go on Paperdoll Heaven and it didn't cost anything to become a proper member ( same as superstar). The dolls were very cartoony and the main colours of the website were red and white, and a bit of black. I can't remember much as I was only 6 or 7, but then I went off for a year. I came back and there was Stardoll! I had an account before Dracula9 that I made ages ago, and it had tons of rares :'( but she got deleted by stardoll.

I remember when it was paper doll heaven! Then they just had the dolls to dress up, then they changed it to stardoll and you got the medoll& stuff. But even since it has been stardoll it has changed a LOT!From the rime it was new it has been mine & my friends favorite website for dress up/avatar type game...

It's really interesting to read about those who were here from the start. It sounded really plain but in someways better in terms of fairness and affordability. It's become so expensive now, especially if you add up how much you spend over a year! lol!
I've read this some time ago on another site but it was 25000 not ...45000 wow!!!
