Weekly Chat RULES

These are the chat rules. 
New chat pages are posted once weekly.

Sometimes, we will feature a comment. You can nominate one comment per week by replying to it with #featurethis 

Please be aware, chat rules are different to the main blog. You can find those rules HERE.

You CAN:

• Talk about your day!
• Share spoilers, releases, hotbuys, etc
• Host mini comps & giveaways
• Share items for sale
• Look for wishlisted items
• Ask the value of items you are selling/looking for
• Ask for help, both on Stardoll & IRL
• Share designs, outfits, suites.
• Get advice for SMW competition entries
• Share social media information, at your own discretion.
• Post reminders of ongoing competitions
• Share real world pictures
• Post selfies or real life pictures (Please be aware that you are posting at your own risk as personal information or location may be able to be obtained. Be smart.)

You CANNOT:

• Bully, attack, or insult others
• Post your postal/home address or other private information
• Use explicit imagery or discussions
• Sell items for over 600sd, or sell your account. 
• Post links 
• (Unless you have been white-listed, which is only for moderators and trusted members. DO NOT ASK  FOR IT, you will be refused.)

• We do not want to be responsible your account being deleted, nor do the writers want to be associated with your actions. Therefore, the following are banned completely across every part of SMW:
• Fakie advice
• Use and discussion  of Proxy servers
• Trading & swapping items
• Selling above 600sd
• Selling sc items for sd
• Selling anything for real money
• Buying, selling, or swapping accounts

REMEMBER:

• If they don't ask for an opinion, help, or idea - don't give one. Unsolicited 'advice' isn't always welcome, and may upset people or incite arguments. If you do want advice, make sure to say as much, and take what you get with an open mind.

• ALWAYS DECLARE EDITED IMAGES!. As mini comps often take place, and people will want to know how you made/where you bought something, always tell us if your image has been edited. Generally, edited images are banned in minicomps, unless otherwise stated by the host. This includes PNG item outfits, graphics, background edits, and poses.

• You MUST add trigger warnings if your post contains mention of death or mental health, as some of our members are young and vulnerable. We are happy for you to be able to discuss your problems here, but not at the detriment of someone else. Use spoiler tags (  <spoiler>write discussion here </spoiler> ) after your trigger warning . If you are concerned for someones' mental health and safety, please PM them and contact a mod.

• Don't like something? Report it, and ignore it. There's no need to feed the trolls.

• Swearing is allowed - in moderation, and never at other people. If you think someone has stepped over the line, report it, and contact the mods.

• Some of our regular users have friendly banter, but sometimes they get out of hand. If you think it is becoming too much, tag them and talk about it. You can always report the comments to the mods if you are still unsure.

• Politics and religion are tricky subjects. As many members like to share and learn about new cultures, we don't want to stop you from discussing these things  - but keep it civil.

• If someone asks you to stop posting or saying something - STOP IT. What may not affect you may well affect someone else.

WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO BAN YOU FROM THE CHAT, COMPS, RAFFLES, AND THE CLUB IF YOUR ACTIONS ARE DEEMED TO BE BREAKING THE RULES. THERE IS A ONE-WARNING POLICY IN PLACE. ARGUMENTS WITH MODERATORS MAY RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN.

MOST BANS ARE PERMANENT UNLESS GIVEN A 2ND CHANCE BY JENNA... ONCE YOU ARE OUT, YOU ARE GONE FOR GOOD.
