While I am looking at several new template styles, I haven't found one to my liking yet. I would like to keep my banner and gadgets. Unfortunately, I am not knowledgeable enough to customize a template to my liking. If anyone knows how to all this and can help me, please comment. I like the style like USD has and when I tried it not all of my gadgets show up properly.
So in the interim, I wanted to go over how to navigate our blog for some of you having difficulty. We generally post a lot, so I do notice items getting missed once they are not the first items on the list.
1. THE MAIN PAGE
You must scroll down the page to see posts that were made previously. There are generally about 15-20 posts on the first page. To get to older posts just click on the older posts link in the bottom right corner.
2. THE TABS
Under our blog banner is a series of tabs. If you click on them it will take you to the most recent information for that tab.
for example under The Winners tab, you will always see the comps where we announced the winners for with the most recent at the top. Simply scroll down to keep viewing and on the bottom right corner click older posts to go to the next page.
This is a great way to find our comps as well. It is the same way for all the tabs (polls, spoilers, free stuff, Inspired by etc).
Another very important item that is in the tabs area is.. The Collecting Prizes tab and The Rules tab. This tells you what you must do to enter our comps and how to claim the prizes you win!
3. THE SIDE BAR
In addition to the tabs there is a banner on the right sidebar that says current comps. Click on that and you will see all the comps that are still open.
There is also another banner for our Inspired By blog. This is always where we show the inspirations for the latest Stardoll fashion.
You will also see many other gadgets. The Chat Box and Followers boxes which you must utilize to enter an of our competitions on the blog.
Birthdays and the Other Blogs (we enjoy) links are also listed on the side. Along with a disqus gadget that shows top commenters, popular posts and recent comments.
4. IN CONCLUSION
I hope this helps everyone navigate the blog a little better. It's really quite easy as long as you familarize yourself with the way it works.
