Okay, so I know some of you listen to k-pop, but most do not. However, I feel like everyone can participate in this comp because K-pop is inextricably linked with fashion. I think it's something that has always drawn me to the genre. Image is super important and there's so much care taken in the fashion of each group and individual members. Each group has a concept and their image is built around that. Of course they change concepts frequently, and then their images follow suit. Their fashion is crucial to conveying the feeling they are trying to get across. I think this is especially significant because they have many international fans that may not understand their lyrics.
Fashion houses are making k-pop idols house ambassadors, like Jennie Kim and G-Dragon for Chanel. Idols are found at all the major runway shows and are rocking the labels not only in performances and videos, but also in their daily life.
So, for this competition, I challenge y'all to find inspiration in idols for a trio of looks. Put your best idol foot forward and create 3 outfits that are cohesive and inspired by k-pop idols. Please provide your inspiration picture/pics.
Can be inspired by male or female idols.
