Ugly Duckling Comp: Part 1

If you don't know the story, the Ugly Duckling is about a little swan who is raised by ducks, and teased for being ugly. The duckling  runs away, discovers his true family, and grows up to be a beautiful swan instead.

There have been many different versions and interpretations of the story, but in the end, it's all about perspective - just as one man's garbage is another man's treasure, the best places to find  beautiful things may often be unexpected.

The Competition:

I want to know what you think is the ugliest item in the starplaza* - but for now, you can't name what it is!

You need to describe what it looks like, and persuade me to think that it's just the worst item in the world. Feel free to describe the fit, the graphics, compare the real life version, what else it resembles, what it reminds you of, and so on. You can do it as a review, story, a poem, diary entry, letter, anything written - be as creative as you want to be, just so long as you're convincing!

I am not judging your grammar, so if English isn't your first language, don't worry about that! Just do the best you can. 

Ideally you should use between 60-150 words. Poems may be less than that.

*NOTE - You cannot use a hotbuy, tribute, or limited item, and you'll need to remember which item you chose, as this will influence Part 2!
