Callie's Picks No.24 - Grunge Glam

OMG guys, we've finally got a TRUE grunge collection :D Alright, these are not new clothes but still... some of them used to be quite rare like the silver dress and the jewel tone plaid shirt, I'm sure lots of you will be happy to get your hands on these items :)



The most expensive item is an ex-Miss Sixty denim jacket which doesn't worth the 24 stardollar price, I usually see it at the bazaar for less. There are 3 pairs of starcoin shoes, when I saw the spoilers I wouldn't have expected the black heeled booties to be for such a low price of 120 coins. It's a must have!


Oh and one more thing... the tartan bucket bag is still available at Bonjour Bizou, but it doesn't really matter which one you buy because the price is the same - unless you care about the tags. Callie, next time you should check the plaza first for what is available and what's not :D


And now let's skip to the best part of this whole thing.

GRUNGE GLAM COMP:

Inspired by Callie's grunge themed release. Create your best Grunge Glam look. Coordinate your look from head to toe (make up, hair etc..)

NO PHOTO EDITING ALLOWED (other than background)

 ~ Must include atleast 1 MAIN clothing item (NOT ACCESSORY) from this Callie's picks
   (Can use other items to complete your look)
~ Take a screen print
~ Screen print should be large and clear. Be sure to crop so it only shows your entry.
~ Post pic NOT link in GB 
~ Don't forget to leave your STARDOLL NAME
~ You must be a follower (Click the join this site button on the left side bar), a member of my club Hotbuys_Bazaar and have regstered/signed in the chat box to enter comps.

 Winner will receive $100SD. Non-superstars $100sd in gifts

    I don't like the idea of ''glam'' grunge. Grunge was supposed to be comfy and messy, and I rather stay to it's roots [:But the collection is lovely and luckily - not overpriced [:

    This is what I made from this collection.
    I will be buying the SC items as usual, plus I'll have to think about buying the Candie's dress, because I've got the turquoise blouse from that collection and I always regretted not buying more stuff from that store. It would have been cheaper then too, those were the days... :)

    Most of the items I like I already own except for the black corset, also a rare and always selling for muchos stardollars ;p

    Never was a big fan of the grunge style but I must admit I still wear my big checkered shirt my mom bought me for xmas over 20 years ago :)

    I LOVE THIS COLLECTION! most of the items are so adorable and fun! <3 The grunge collections is awesome! <3 They probably all heard us complain about the LE stuff and some of that stuff :D anywho this is my look!

    Also LOVE the long silver sweater and the black boots, fringe jacket, these pieces are to die for! The glasses are adorable as well XD

    To me, grunge is all about combining unexpected things together, or contrasting things to make a comfortable, street-style look. I love grunge and this collection has some of my favourite pieces ever! I hope you like my outfit. :]

    This is my grunge look.
    It was inspired by Mary-Kate Olsen. The big glasses are her trademark (or at least they are in my opinion!), and in older photos of her, she wore a lot of flannel shirts.

    I added my own touch by wearing a pair of simple, blue jeans, and I chose the boots because they look very grunge/punk, and the red shoelaces work nicely with the shirt.
