Sadly, I don't own any animals here in Canada. I live in an apartment, so no furry critters and there's no room for a tank. I had a pet goat back in the Philippines, but I don't have any photos of him. xD

I don't have any pets now. Used to have fishes when I was younger, but they died. Fishes are probably the only pets my parents would allow, even tho we live in the house and have garden. They just don't like any fur or poo. We did have chickens when I was like 5, and I considered them to be my pets, played with them and fed them. They were useful pets, lols. ReplyDeleteWow my favorite thing in life .i only ever take in pets that need a home after a bad start in life .i have two dogs and three rabbits .only of my rabbits needed a lot of care we got her when she was under a year old she was carrying 7 babies .which as you know is not good for her she needed her teeth cutting down due to bad care .so this cost a lot .but money not everything .as she needed the surgery she give birth that night she was to young and weak to take care of them all so i cared for 4 of them she took are of 3 .all 7 lived and are rehomed .So here you go meet piper one of my dogs .with the female rabbit prue .jerry in the snow and the other 2 pic are the babies .i have loads more but i fill the page lol

ReplyDeleteI would love to show my puppy but I cant. Her name is Audrey and she is all black and will not show up on camera. I have never once gotten a picture of her that doesn't look like a black blob. Not to mention how camera shy she is. Everyone's pets are really cute though. ^-^

ReplyDeleteI love each of my cats to death. They each have their story, and helped me trough some rough times.
Last year I lost 2 (The one in the right corner down, Prutske and Moor, the siamese who I had for 8 years :c) and was devastated, but then I got another one to keep the son of Moor (Rakker) company.
And guess what? She (Mokske) got 3 adorable babies (Alpha, Romeo and Hercule)!
Also, a while ago I found a small, lost kitty in my yard, and I couldn't resist. (The one on the blue couch, Niké)
Nothing feels better than having an animal with a rough start and knowing you made it happy and gave it a better and loving life <3

ReplyDeleteHere's my kitty Jasper! <3 She's a Black American Short Tail (which means she was born with a little stubby cute tail) I also think she's part and burmese also part Siamese (triangular face shape and her coat is black and chocolate mixed!) She's actually very small ( not sure if you can tell in the pictures) and literally is a little feisty ball of love!
ReplyDeleteAbout 8 years ago she was living across the street at my neighbor's house. She also lived with several other cats (All black, ironically!). The family didn't treat her or the other cats very nicely. The little girl used to curl her into a ball as a kitten (which is a big no no) on her back (also a no no) and ended up hurting her back. She also lost her litter of kittens, they died inside of her since she was a bit young to have kittens.
They took her to the vet and the vet basically told them that she was suffering from some depression and some spinal pain or nerve pain. After a while she started to come over to our house. (We had just lost our kitty a year before and we were all pretty sad about it still so seeing Jasper was way too cute!) The neighbors brought a big dog home and Jasper stayed more and more around our house outside or underneath our travel trailer. Son she just really stopped going home. We coaxed her to the door sometime to pet her, but she really was kind of mean about it and scared because of the other house. Eventually she started to come inside to eat because she wasn't eating at home. She wouldn't let us pet her really but it was a start.
The neighbors about a month later decided to move and couldn't take her or the other kitties with them, so since they kind of figured she'd been eating and sleeping at out house, that they wanted us to have her. (Which was hard to explain to their little girl.) So Jasper has been with us ever since. She's improved with her attitude quite a bit. When we first got her she didn't like being held, she never snuggled or wanted attention she just wanted her space and when she did want pet it was for a a few seconds. She also used to be really scared of loud noises and the sound of soda cans. (We figured out they used to throw stuff around and yell a lot and she really didn't like it. Also they used to throw beer cans at her because she'd bite their ankles, which was because they pushed her around with their feet, a big huge no no).
After 8 years she's become a big part of our family. She enjoys snuggling now (sometimes) and loves to get pet and meeting new people. She also loves to play with water (just a little bit) in the bathtub. She enjoys playing with her toy mouse and watching Improvaganza and Whose Line is it Anyway with me (in marathons she just curls up and watches tv with me). She enjoys her tuna and snores loudly at night. Jasper still has nerve damage so no one usually pets her back. She is terrible fast and sneaky and doesn't like to hold still for photos haha. <3 But she is my best little furry friend. :D
Sorry for the long post, just appreciation for this little fluff ball! Love seeing all your pets. I used ot have fish as a little kid, but that didn't last long because I hated cleaning the tank. hehe! <3 (I've also always wanted a llama. I'm so serious about getting one one day!) Anyway, love seeing all your pets! <3

ReplyDeleteWe take Cocoa for walks which is why he has a harness on, it's not cruelty, we simply hold one end and let him roam around the garden, since he's stuck in his cage most of the day and we have several dogs in the area who have killed local pets before.
I've got Cocoa who is a smoke pearl (grey) minilop rabbit, named when he was little and he used to be grey-and-brown at the time!) I also have Rosy whose a Broken-black minilop, and Lola the ex-feral cat, who we rescued, and who absolutely hates getting her photograph taken (she's a LOT chubbier now than she is in this picture, which was taken back in her semi-wild days.) - katyperrycupcak

ReplyDeleteMy sister is also allergic to cats! There's actually some very good hypo-allegenics, such as the La Perm cat or Labradoodle (dog). If you DO want to get a cat/dog, try spending an hour or so with it first! Espeshially if it'll be in an apartment, since the two of you may end up stuck together for a while :)

ReplyDeleteI've been searching for them but my brother is allergic to anything with fur too, so unfortunately that wouldn't work, I know about Sphynx cats and Xoloitzcuintli dogs (I don't even know how to pronounce that xD), but if I got a dog/cat I would adopt it from a dogs' home and it's practically impossible to find those hairless breeds near my town :/

ReplyDeleteActually today has been the most angelic I have seen her. My mom spent a few days in the hospital and she came home all sore and tired, and Jasper cuddled right up to her and gave her hand a wash and little kitty kisses. She's only ever done that today, it was really cute!
