Maria-0077 has re-created another fabulous Elie Saab Collection! She sent it to us as a thank you for showcasing her previous collection. How could we not it's beautiful! She actually sent this to us awhile ago. Many of you may have seen it, but since I am just noticing it... I wanted to share it. Thank you Maria for thinking about us!
Maria creates her designs using inkscape. She has been doing this for over 2 years now and just keeps getting better and better.
Keep up the good work and maybe Stardoll will get the picture! We want an Elie Saab Tribute...please :D

ReplyDeleteAlso, I really want an Ellie Saab Tribute, I don't know why Stardoll didn't make a tribute to Ellie Saab, maybe it is because of copyrights or other thing, but really this summer collection would be absolutelly amazing! All of the dresses are gorgeous!!

I really like the designs and the idea, I am sure that in the future she could collaborate with Stardoll, but at the same time, it's up to them to decide to pick someone, not just talented people who are there members.
ReplyDeleteI think that her stuff is cool but she... doesn't really get paid or anything for doing this. As much as I like to draw and illustrate clothes, I wouldn't put that much effort into something if the only thing I get is a random shout-out on the Stardoll's official blog or whatever.
Speaking about designs, they're good, although I am not too fond of how the dresses end at the bottom, they don't look like they freely fall, they look like they're stretched. And maybe there are too much gradients. I've seen too many poor gradients in other Stardoll clothing designs and I must say that, most of the time, they look a little sloppy.

ReplyDeleteI agree with you about the way the dresses end. I like the designs very much and how she re-created them but the 1st and the 3rd dress have a really werid ending. They kind of look off, but I would buy them anyway lol
