The HB Catty Summer Tote is here. It's cute, but it looks a bit blurry on my laptop. Not sure if its me or a not so hot job on Stardolls end. ;)
(Modeled by Oayes)
It is inspired by Paul's Boutique bag. See all the June HB's HERE at Inspired By.
So what do you think of this tote? Will you be buying it?
Tell us in comments or show us a pic of you sporting it.

I like it better then I thought I would. I've noticed the hot buys look better on there own and when you try them on then when looking at them in the original picture.
ReplyDeleteOn mine looks blurry too. Btw I don't like its colors and pattern.
ReplyDeleteLooks cute :) But why does it look so blurry?
ReplyDeleteIt looks blurry on my account as well. I'm not a fan of leopard print, nor the color scheme. I hope Stardoll fixes the glitch soon!
ReplyDeleteSadly, its not just you Jenna. It seems to be blurry for me and many others too. Its a shame because I was really excited for this month's hot buys but they just seem to keep going below my expectations.
ReplyDeleteRiviera HotBuys??? Well, this is a new one lol
ReplyDeleteThe blurred effect is called pixelation which means the designer forgot to use a tool called Anti-aliasing - i don't know much (actually, I know close to nothing) about computer graphic design but I think it's what's missing - in this case I think it should have been used Supersampling to smooth out the pixel edges.
An outfit I made with the bag :)
ReplyDeleteMustn't be that experienced of a graphic designer than, to forget something as important as that.
ReplyDeleteHere's my outfit

Well,I quite like it,even it has the blurry thing it's still cute :)
ReplyDeleteHere's my try to style it *refresh*
The bag's spoiler was already pixelated, so the problem is permanent everywhere :(
ReplyDeleteHmmm has mixed feelings about this one.
ReplyDeleteI never knew what to do with that dress until now :) Your doll is beautiful :)
ReplyDeleteI won't be buying this!

It's pixelated because the pattern isn't a vector. Vector graphics never get pixelated, no matter how you stretch them or what sixe they are, if saved in a correct format. I guess they used a raster graphics picture for the print.
ReplyDeleteThe bag is great, I really like it but the pixel design thing is a little... intimidating. Maybe it was meant to be this way? I don't know, haha.
I can't believe Stardoll hasn't fixed this yet, or at least take it out of store and refund us for our SD.. This bag's quality is horrible. But I'm trying to collect Hot Buys so I bought it before I even saw the HORRIBLE pixelatio
ReplyDeleteThat awkward moment when you like the real life version than the pixelated one. xD
