Three days of fashion challenges, Three days of winners.
Monday, Wednesday and Friday you will be required to complete a different challenge.
$100sd prize given out for each day!
You must compete in all three days or you will not qualify to win.
DAY 3
It's the last day of our 3 Day Beauty Challenge and I don't know, but
with the World Cup going on... I'm feeling kind of Patriotic!
FRIDAY (DAY 3): Create a patriottic themed hair and makeup look inspired by your country's colors and post the pic in comments.
You have until 12 MIDNIGHT SUNDAY (June 15th, 2014 USA EST) to complete all 3 challenges.

~Both hair and make up should be in the PATRIOTIC Theme
~Can be created in Starplaza.
NEW~Can use someone else's doll due to limited beauty supplies if necessary~NEW
~Take a screen print.
~ Screen print should be large and clear.
~Be sure to crop so it only shows your entry.
~Post pic NOT link in Comments

ReplyDelete-the weave represents our important and often overlooked Afro-Colombian community and culture
-The eyeshadow and lipstick is our flag
-the feathers and salamander piercing represent the exotic animals in our Amazon forest in southern Colombia
-the jewels under my eyes are for the beauty of my country
-the gold nose piercing and choker represent how our tribes use gold for luxury and everyday life (tools, etc.) plus we have lots of gold
-the love tattoo represents how much we value friendship, family, and love
-and the emerald necklace represents that over 75% of the world's emeralds come from Colombia

ReplyDeleteWell the point is representing and showing pride in your country, but I guess if your not feeling that then ok. Maybe at least use one you have a heritage with like if you are Italian or Irish etc.

ReplyDeleteI live now in the Sunny LA but i my family is a mix of latinos and british.. so..i decides to Stick with the UK flag... Red white and blue. Was challenging because i dont have red eyeshadow.. (Who does?) but love the result.. Screams Great Britain but not on a literal way...

ReplyDeleteSpain here! I tried to look like most Spanish girls (dark and wavy hair). Also as "sevillanas" are worldwide known as spanish girls I made that "sevillana" makeup: red lips and dark eyes with eyeliner. But, this was not enough to suport my country. Now that my doll was totally a spanish girl, the final touch was adding that supporting make up easy and that everyone can do at home. Facial painting the flag on our cheeks. :) So this way is a casual, suporting make up. Now this girl is ready to go to a match and scream for our players!
