STARDOLL SIGNS AGREEMENT WITH MATTEL


Hello everyone, today the new of the day is the agreement between Stardoll and Mattel. The new partner of Stardoll is not Disney that everyone talk but Mattel. Stardoll will not longer be only virtual is coming to phisical world. The first product line will come in the autumn of 2011.     Stardoll will be the same, don't worry. I mean, it's not new Mattel to Stardoll, so I don't think that we should worry for this.
    I'm curious to see how Stardoll will come to the physical world..

    It makes me think there will be toys! Like dolls or something. I would be cool if when you bought a doll it came with a code you enter online and get the dress that the doll has free. Winder what they will do.

    I think it would be cool if you could use the design feature for clothing online, then have it made for your doll that they will make. It would be like being able to design your own barbie clothes, which would have made me ecstatic when i was a little girl :D I just hope they don't change the online portion.

    I'll wait to see what will happen next,but if stardoll continues with this "makeover" which looks very much with I-dressup,the toys and probably the paper-dols won't be succesful

    As far as I understand from that announcement, there will be no changes to stardoll, they're just going to release some toys or something probably using stardoll brand, I mean like a doll or something. Well I guess :)

    It would be cool if there was the same accessories and stuff, and it was exactly the same as your MeDoll lol (:


    But I think it's sort of suggesting to mothers and children that this is a kiddy dress up site because of the dolls. :/

    Hmm, it looks okay...

    If it means they're gonna start making SD Barbies, I don't think it'll do so well. Most of SD are teen girls who no longer play with actual dollies... But I don't know, GOOD LUCK STARDOLL! :P

    Well, I'm not sure what to think about this... I think it's just another way for Stardoll to make more money. :/ And I think the article doesn't say anything specific about this so that sucks aswell... First thing that came to my mind when I read Mattel I thought of dolls... Maybe some things from Stardoll will be made into dolls and toys for children who're not allowed to join Stardoll so they could play it like that... I really have no idea, we'll just have to wait and see...

    P.S. For those who are worried that Stardoll could change, I doubt that... I think the site will stay the same. ;)

    I don't mind this since I dont think it'll really affect the webiste this much, it'll probably just mean that you'll see a few stardoll branded dolls in your local toystore soon, I wish stardoll would realise that most of their users stopped playing with real life dolls a good few years ago.

    I wonder if this will be like something Club Penguin did a few years ago where you get codes with the dolls and you can redeem stuff on the website, if so it could be successful.

    Now I better stop talking :)
