Trend and Anti-Trend of the week!

Hey everyone! I hope you all had a brilliant weekend, I know I did. I'm here to bring you the segment Trend and Anti Trend of the week! This weeks trend is...

BLACK SWAN THEMED!
Have you all seen the movie? If not, I reccommend it completley. It's a thrilling story of a girl named Nina, she's a ballerina and she strives for perfection. It's really great! A lot of people on stardoll seem to like it too, as they are dressing up as ''The White Swan'' or ''The Black Swan'', those are the two different personalities in the film. If you saw the film, did YOU like it? Anyway, here is Undamyumbrellla and bluegreen86 sporting this look:

Mel is the Black swan and Kasia is the white swan, awesome, right?!
Next! The anti trend is... 
FUR   
I know that this is sort of a controversial subject, and I personally DON'T agree with it, but I think it is so... OUT! Would you wear fur in real life/on stardoll? I have, but I don't condone it. (I am aware that a fur piece in the picture is faux, this is just an example though!)

    I love fur and I'm not afraid to say it is a subject that would make a very good debate and I would have many arguments to defend myself ..

    I prefer faux fur. I dislike real fur, the idea of wearing it doesn't enlighten me. But I love the black swan theme. I really want to see the movie, but I am tweleve, meaning I can only see it with an adult, and my parents would never allow me too. :-(

    I truly love The Black Swan movie, amazing.
    But for the fur - I rarely have it on stardoll, but on RL I'm absolutely against wearing fur.

    I saw the film and i think its great! i also love the blach swan outfit!! i dont really like fur in real life but stardoll is just a game! clothes are just graphics not real fur!

    I havent seen the film .. Yet ! It looks pretty good ;]

    I love the Black Swan Theme :D

    Not so much the Fur. The Faux Fur isnt too bad on Stardoll, but I wouldnt really wear it in Real. I would never wear real fur ;]

    I HATE real fur ,i don't mind fake but yeah I'm not a big fan of killing animals e.e
    And the black swan movie seems to be really good but im too young ;L

    That is like beauty without a face. I understand thats your opinion. Btw I am referring to faux fur.

    real fur is wrong but faux fur will always be a trend no matter what anyone says.

    I LOVE BLACK SWAN. I've watched it twice. Great film.

    I love her outfit.
    I don't like fur myself and I would never wear or buy it, but I love the feel of it (doesn't everyone?)
    Tbh I'm not fussed about stardolls fur, faux or real, because at the end of the day it's pixels. LOL

    The Black Swan movie sounds good, but I haven't seen it. Probably becoz from what my friends have said; it's scary. haahah! :) i guess im just too scared to see it. BTW , the fur is alright on stardoll, but i'd never wear it in real life! :D

    Hmm, I don't usually wear fur on SD and I sort of agree that there's been a lot lately..almost too much, which gives me the feeling it's out.

    As for the Black Swan look...WOW! It's a very interesting trend, and I think that once I've seen the movie I'd be able to create a better out fit for it. But great! :D Undamuumbrella's looked AMAZING! :DDD

    i know the film of the preview in TV and of some magazine writing about it but i didnt look at it.
    First i thought its a movie about dancing but i read that its really thrilling and creepy.
    I love the picture you made it looks really good.
    And about the fur thing: i wouldnt buy me a fur just a fake fur in real life but never something of a real animal. Because i love animaly and i cant understand people using it as a accessoires because some fashion icons are saying it -.-

    I don't like fur :/ Faux fur makes me feel weird and uncomftable and I hate even thinking how they kill little animals! So I dislake fur at all. Although the winter fur hats are really cute...
    As for the look for the black swan, I love it! Still waiting to watch the movie in cinema, I can't wait!

    Fur is classic. Fur is not a trend, and it will never be. Fur is here to stay forever. Just like diamonds and LBDs.

    I must admit, I like fur and leather. They look good. But I am also aware that living creatures are being killed for this luxury and that is totally wrong. So in real life I have a very few items made of leather and whenever I can choose, I choose fake leather or fake fur. But speaking about stardoll, I don't really pay attention to that, no animals were killed for virtual clothes :) On the other hand, a lot of fur stuff on stardoll doesn't look as good as in real life lol

    I haven't watched Black Swan yet, but it looks really interesting! Personally, I would never wear fur in real life, maybe on Stardoll. But I don't really like fur =/

    I am really looking forward to seeing the movie Black Swan! The costumes look simply delicious. I think I will be putting together an ensemble soon.

    I am not a big fan of fur (except for my two living furbabies) Its hard to find faux fur that looks and feels real. I would much rather see the real thing on a living animal in the wild.

    In RL I don't wear fur or faux fur..I honestly just find it a little weird when people do wear fur, or even faux fur...


    On SD I don't think I have anything with fur.. I have feathered stuff but not fur. xD

    I actually don't really care about people wearing real fur. People have been doing it all through history. Sure, if its used excessively, then it is horrible. Of course, i'll probably never have the oppurtunity to wear it, so it's all good :)

    I like the idea of faux fur. Fur is beautiful but cruel so I would never wear it and I hate when people wear it, but faux fur is beautiful and I personally love it!! On dolls, not in real life cause it's really not my style. By the way, I really liked the black swan theme!!

    Faux fur is really in this winter... And depending on how you wear it, it's fantastic! For example, Winter Collection 2010 of Chanel was basically faux fur and I loved it! I'm sure it's a must that will never be out. But I really wouldn't wear it in real life!

    i hate fure. it's so mean to animals. and i know this is a virtual site, and the fur is fake. but still, they had actualy fure in mind. how would you feel if someone killed you jsut to get ur coat?

    I don't get to wear much fur in my daily life and i'm referring to faux fur cuz i'm totally against wearing animal fur, it's cruel and unnecessary.
    I do have a few furry accessories like bags and some clothes with fur trimmings, nothing over the top ;)
    Stardoll's fur is awful and it doesn't look like fur at all.

    I don`t really ever wear fur...but I would never wear it. I, in my opinion, think it is tacky and shapeless. It doesn't really help your body and give it "Shape."

    I like (faux) fur, but only a bit of it at a time. Only one piece per outfit, not too much. My mom has a really pretty black faux fur jacket that I adore.

    I wish that I could see Black Swan, but as it's rated R and I'm only 13 years old, I'm not allowed to. I would if it was PG-13, though.

    I am against real fur, faux fur is better! I really do not see the need to kill an animal for its fur when you can get the same thing without hurting anyone. I love the Black Swan outfits too :)

    I totally agree with you about trend and anti-trend!! :D I really, really want to see the movie and those inspired looks are fabulous!!! :) I would never be able to do anything like that... :/ As for the anti-trend, I wore it in Stardoll few times but I would never wear it in real life... Maybe I could wear a faux fur but a real one never. It just isn't worth of any animals life...
