THEME FOR WEEKEND OOTD POLKA DOTS

The Theme for this weekend, suggested by Exabella is POLKA DOTS!

When I first saw how Polka Dots was spelled, I was very confused 

A Polka is a Polish dance...not a field of dots on fabric or paper! 

So in researching the spelling 

I found out that at about the same time this fabric started showing up in 1857 

Polka music had been popular since 1835 and many items 

introduced around then had the word Polka attached to it

Look at this vintage Photograph from the late 1800's 

even the baby has on Polka Dots!

 Polka Dots are Timeless!

The 1950's through the 1970's was the beginning of many 

Fashion Designers careers who are Icons now

or create your own style!
