The final day of Stardoll Fashion Week was purely amazing, instead of 3 there were 5 collections presented including a surprise show. Click on 'Read More' to discover the gorgeous collections of Ralph & Russo by Nounacoolrock, Maria Signature by Maria-0077, Desire by MandaMichalka, Chang by Julia-ChangDiva and LOVE by xXSophiie.LuvXx.
Ralph & Russo by Nounacoolrock
Nounacoolrock is known for doing graphic tributes of Balmain and Carolina Herrera. She presented her first full ready-to-wear tribute this week of british haute couture fashion house Ralph & Russo's SS 2015 collection. The show presented super elegant, red carpet perfect creations in sophisticated colors like white, cream, blush and black, completed with gorgeous floral embroidery and lace. The graphics are very smooth and it can be seen clearly that lots of effort was put in editing the looks. My favorite outfit is the cream dress with the pretty cornflower motifs, and I also adore the asymmetric black gown with the same embroidery in different colors. I can't wait to see Nounacoolrock's future projects!
Maria Signature by Maria-0077
This was Maria's second runway show this season, and this time she presented a luxurious Haute Couture collection inspired by angelic and heavenly themes, all looks designed by herself. The show was very feminine overall, with magnificent baroque influence. There were all kinds of dreamy gowns from mermaid-fit to asymmetric styles. The main elements were white fabrics (mainly tulle and chiffon) gold embellishments and lots of glitzy sequins. My favorite look must be the very first one, the shoulder slung jacket is to die for paired with that sheer dress, plus the Elie Saab-esque gown Maria is wearing on the last photo also needs a shoutout! Maria didn't take a rest after her show, she has released her second Young Hollywood Tribute collection since then, which consists of 7 highly detailed, amazing gowns.
Desire by MandaMichalka
MandaMichalka was amongst the debutants at Stardoll Fashion Week. Her fashion house is called 'Desire' and its face is Aeon_Flux_96, who's also a member of SMW - she has appeared on the catwalk several times during the week, congratulations dear! SS 2015 is the house's first collection, and the theme is unusual to those previously seen, since it is based on a more futuristic, or according to Manda, 'Avantgarde' view. The collection is entitled Fashion Gladiator and shows all kinds of postmodern looks. I just love how the designer combined minimalistic, basic shades with lighter colors like cornflower, bubblegum pink, blush or khaki, it looks very unique! My favorite look is the black pants - nude peplum top combo, I will consider ordering one-one piece for myself.
Chang by Julia-ChangDiva
After her successful Zuhair Murad Tribute, Julia-ChangDiva surprised us with a casual capsule collection perfect for daytime. The presentation consists of 5 looks, offering essential little black dresses and sky blue gowns for cocktailparty hours. The best piece of the collection is the Coco sweater, which might a super versatile piece and could match any style from edgy to elegant.
LOVE by xXSophiie.LuvXx
Fashion Week closed with a special surprise from the other main host, xXSophiie.LuvXx. The designer presented his first LOVE collection a few weeks ago, and last Sunday we could already welcome a fresh range of clothing ready to wear for spring and summer. The designs are pretty much daring, made of transparent fabrics with oversized heart prints to hide the NSFW body parts. I can spot once again bubblegum pink amongst other cheerful and vivid colors, overall this collection screams summer in every single detail. Oh and let's not forget to mention the super cool backdrop of the collection! Would be awesome to see this interior on Stardoll, don't you think?
Our Fashion Week recap is not over yet! I'll be posting a short trend report and also SMW's own Best Dressed list of the Masquerade Ball held on Monday celebrating Stardoll Fashion Awards. Stay tuned!
