Oh my oh my oh my, this was such an unexpected release! Unlike the last LE collection, which was promoted for almost a month and then caused a huge disappointment, today's collection entitled Glam Rock is just jaw dropping with its theme and graphics! I swear we haven't had such a good LE release in... years?!
Surprisingly, these pieces seem to be even cheaper than before. 3 pieces have the highest price with 200 stardollars, one of them, the Streetstyle Cara cape (inspired by Burberry) is available only for Royalty members.
Other designers include Giambattista Valli, Balmain, Saint Laurent, Judith Leiber, Valentino and many more I haven't recognized yet. I will post the RL versions as soon as I can.
Any favorite pieces? Did you manage to buy anything? My budget allowed me to buy 2 pieces, the Spike stilettos and the Pinstripe jacket - I immediately fell in love with these! I also adore the interior but I find it blurry so I'll pass that one...

ReplyDeleteI love the collection. Its release was unexpected; I'm pretty sure everyone was in shock when we saw the spoilers. I love the butterfly studded dress but at 200sd, it's out of my limit. I'm glad to see that it isn't as limited as the previous limited collections we had.

I totally agree with you, this collection the best we had the last years! I usually buy one/two pieces, but this time I went crazy. So many elegant pieces, my favourite is the fall leaves Valli jacket!

ReplyDeleteI find this collection so versatile and simple, it is not like any other collections, there is no pink,purple and other girly colors. we got some black, white and military green. Yay stardoll,you finally made it right with all those dark colors that actually made this collection look fresh and bold . Here is my outfit :D

ReplyDeleteThis is the best collection of LE we had in probably years! I bought around 12 things, including interior. Everything is so beautiful and well done regarding graphics, and not even that expensive (although I did spend 1.1k )

ReplyDeleteI couldn't agree more, this is definitely the best LE collection in years, in fact this is the first decent LE I could ever afford, since I never bought superstar membership back then. I spent nearly 1k and broke my haul record, but I'm glad that they were spent on such gorgeous items that will last over time. I got almost everything I like, except the headscarf and the fur scarf :[ I also liked the butterfly and quilt dress but I couldn't afford them :[
ReplyDeleteI bought two items I wanted and another two I wasn't sure I want but there were some of the last pieces therefore I got them anyway. First time spending so much. Second time buying from LE (the first one was purple scarf from LE a while ago), and the thing i wanted the most from this collection was the white headscarf. Oh well.
