Happy Mother's Day everyone!
Tell us if you are celebrating in your part of the world and what you do to celebrate.
Also,
take a moment and tell us what your Mother (or maybe you have someone who is like a mother to you) means to you, how she inspires you to be you and you could be entered in our
SURPRISE MOTHER'S DAY RAFFLE. Even the prize is a surprise! Originally, I wanted to do a scenery comp, but Stardoll beat me to it and well.. I just had too much going on :P
This opportunity is only on for today, so I hope a lot of you see it :D

My mother means the world to me, because even though she's going/ went trough so much she still stays strong and makes sure her 3 kids are happy and safe. I made this little spa set thingy for her with candles and scrubs and all those little things because she deserves anything more than anybody ♥
ReplyDeleteI know kinda what you are going through. A few years ago my Mom was diagnosed with a pretty serious illness that she is still dealing with today. Yet through it all,her number one concern was us. She always encourages us to live our dreams and makes sure we are all "good". I am sure your Mom will so appreciate your gift. It sounds really nice and thoughtful :)
ReplyDeleteMy mother is in the twilight of her years and she is now living with me and my husband. Always there when needed, she has been the rock of my life. I am so happy she is here with us so we don't need to worry about her and mostly so she won't live these later years alone. What a joy she is!
ReplyDeleteMy mother is like a friend to me - she is an amazing and strong person, with such will to live and help everyone. She always encourages me to do my best, and to never give up - even when I'm doing so bad, she believes in me. It's amazing how she thinks of me and my sister all the time - she surprises us randomly with little presents, or makes us our favorite food. I love spending time with her, especially to drink coffee - that's my favorite part of day definitely, when we can chat about anything. I love how the older I get, we get along together better, and I feel so bad when I remember how I used to be so horrible to her. But I'm trying to make it up to her.:)
ReplyDeleteI surprised her with lunch at a restaurant and her favorite perfume, and we had so much fun :)
Gosh darn!I LOVE MY MOTHER SO MUCH! She is the strongest woman I know and she is my one and only role model. She's suffering from breast cancer and has watched almost all of her siblings die because of the disease too! She's ran marathons! She goes out and works everyday to provide for us even though she despises her job! She loves me, she nurtures me, she does everything I could ever want and more. I love my mom with a burning passion that no fire fire could ever extinguish XD. She always puts me and my siblings' needs before her own. She takes us to visit our father who left her without support just so that we know who our real parents are :) She always makes my favorite foods, she encourages me to work hard and do good in school and in life! She's just an amazing inspiration to me and I try to follow in her footsteps. O know this sounds cheesy but its the truth. I probably wouldn't even care about school or any things if weren't for her. My mother is just the most amazing, beautiful, strong woman I've ever known and I love her for that. And so, I planned her a surprise today ;) For the past year, I've noticed she's got her eye on the new samsung galaxy. I know she really wants to get it but she would rather use her money to put food on the table and put a roof over our heads. But I think she deserves a break! Me and my brother and sister made her breakfast and when she's done eating we're going to give her the phone c: I'm so excited I can't wait!!! Me and my brother had to save up our allowance forever so we could finally afford it! Yeah, well that's all! Then we're going to the park for a picnic! c: See ya later alligators!
ReplyDeleteI love my Mom so much!
ReplyDeleteShe has been giving me my insulin injections which keep me alive since I was 3 (I'm a type 1 Diabetic if you were wondering!). She always give me loads of hugs and helps me deal with my anxiety. She is always nice to me, even when I'm mean to her. She puts my needs before her own! She makes us meals everyday, makes sure I'm not skipping my breakfast, and that I didn't forget to bring my lunch to school! God I seem like such a child! My point is I love you mom and I hope you have a great day!
Aww! It's so clear how much you love your mother! And I hope she loves her samsung galaxy xxxx
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I hope you and your mother have a lovely day! xxxx
ReplyDeleteI hope both of you have a lovely day xxxx
ReplyDeleteIts not even mothers day where I live but i think my mum deserves some recognition.
ReplyDeleteMy mum is the best person in the whole world-sorry guys! She has always been there for me, even though Ive been going through alot, I know I worry her so much, but she has never once left my side no matter how much ive pushed her away at times. She is so supportive and so strong for going through whats shes been through, many people wouldnt even believe whats shes been through. I love her so much and hope she knows that! She inspires me to be who I am because she has taught me that no matter how bad life is at times, theres is always that pot of gold at the end of the rainbow x
I hope your mother gets better soon! Have a great day together xxxx
ReplyDeleteI hope she gets better soon, Have a great day xxxx

ReplyDeleteWe just gave it to her :) She's crying happy tears <3 now I want to cry too
ReplyDeleteI don't know much about my mother because she's always at work. She is still an inspiration to me nevertheless. Happy Mothers day!
ReplyDeleteThis is so cute :) I love how you appreciate all the little and big things your mother does for you. I hope you guys have a fun mother's day :)))
ReplyDeleteAww, I hope you two get to spend more time together in the future, I hope you both enjoy this day now :)
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, she is not home today. My mother's a nurse so her working hours are not flexible. Her job is what is inspiring me to be a doctor <3
ReplyDeletewell even though its not mothers day where im from I don't think I need a special day to be dedicated to her because for me everyday is mothers day. I have so much unconditional love for my mother. She is my not only my mum but my best friend and role model and I would not be who I am today if it wasn't for her. However id love to give acknowledgement to ALL mothers out there because to me being a mother is probably one of the hardest jobs out there so from me and my mother happy mother day to all the mothers out there who put up with the tantrums and heartbreaks of us difficult teenagers. Take it from me your all doing great but a big shoutout to my mum for always being there for me. I LOVE YOU MUM!!!
ReplyDeleteWE CELEBRATE mothers day, sadly colorado is snowed in so we celebrated on saturday! We went to hammonds candy factory and took a free tour and got loads of free candy. I also bought 1 pound of cotton candy for 5 bucks!
ReplyDeleteAwww she seems amazing your very lucky to have her in your life and i hope u have many more memories to come with her
ReplyDeleteMy Mom is my role model and greatest supporter in life! I am so grateful to have such a kind and understanding parent who is always available to talk to me when I have issues or just for fun. I love her so much!
ReplyDeleteWhere I live Mother's day was last week and we got to hang out together so she could open the gift I bought her.
ReplyDeleteMy mum is one of the biggest inspirations for me. She has been through a lot, including fighting cancer. These last years have been really hard for everyone. Because she realized she couldn't do the things that she usually could and we had to be there to grow her confidence. But it turned out that she was the one who helped us the most. Life is not easy, and it can turn all the way round in just seconds. The most important thing is to accept yourself and appreciate the ones who are there for you no matter what happens, that's what she tought me.
I ♥ my mum
Thank you! Its a disease she will always have to live with but she is managing it very well.
ReplyDeleteThank you! She will always have but is doing good :)
ReplyDeleteTo celebrate mothers day i always get her roses ans tulips as they are her fav flowers. Then its a case of wat she wants that year. It varies from perfumea to bags to furniture as she loves home diy. To finish off we go out for a family dinner which is always a great way to end the eveing which is then followed by lots of hugs and kissess lol. Thats standard on mothers day
ReplyDeleteOh, that's pretty cool, she must be proud ^^
ReplyDeleteWow, she must be so strong ^^
ReplyDeleteIn Poland we celebrate Mother's day on 26th of May. Im going to prepare sth special, bu still not sure what. :)
ReplyDeleteToday I read something on Facebook that just resonated deep in me (u may have heard it before, I hadn't):
ReplyDelete-"Sometimes when I open my mouth my Mother comes out" first I laughed and then it hit me..."this is so true! I do sound like her sometimes, more than I wished, actually..." but then I think, it isn't at all that bad and how much, much worst it could be...that woman not only made me but she really MADE me! lol - L♥VE U MOM!!!
In my country we celebrate Mothers day on first May Sunday, so it was last week. I woke up early, made her breakfast to bed, woke up her, told that I love her more than anything and gifted gifts. I think that we should appreciate our Moms every single day, always help her, talk to her & have some Mother and daughter time. My Mom is my biggest inspiration, my light and my biggest love. Im happy to have such a loving Mom, who does everything to her family and always here to help and shoulder to cry. Love you Mom and happy Mothers day! (I greeted my Mom today with American Mother day and she was surprised, because she didnt knew that :))
ReplyDeleteWe had our Mothers Day way back in March in England, not entirely sure why the difference exists!
ReplyDeleteIt was Mother's day where we live back in March, and I feel that although its great to have a day dedicated to our mothers, we should appreciate them this much every day. Yes we may 'hate' them or wish that we had a 'celebrity' as our mother but at the end of the day we would be nowhere without them; literally and metaphorically. My mum inspires me so much, she has taught me that I really should follow my dreams, as after leaving her office job to look after my and my sister for 15 years she has now decided to follow her dreams and become a theatre nurse in a hospital. My mother has taught me to appreciate what we have in life and has shown me that the best lessons in life come from the most unexpected places, and I can never thank here enough. My mum introduced me to Harry Potter and we have shared our love for the literally life changing novels and movies and I have learnt so much about how to lead a better and life and be a better person from this. I'm happy for the special bond we have created and I'm so proud of her and love her so much. I know she will always offer me a shoulder to cry on and she will always be there to be an inspirational role model, I would be lost without her ♥
ReplyDeleteIt was only two uf a for a really long and she was very young when I was born, so we are very close, like best friends. She is awesome and I love her. On mothers day I always get flowers for her (a lot of them) and clean the house as a surprise. But I always try to be nice, I make my own Mother days for her like tree or four times a year, because as she has three more children now, she's always really busy and she has no time for herself, so a little surprises like this make her really happy! Moms are great!
ReplyDeleteHere in Portugal mother's day was last week. Since we are kids, we celebrate this day, we make gifts at school to give to our mothers, it's very funny! Once i'm not at school no more, i just buy a gift and spend this day with my mom. They truly deserve this day because of the hard work they have to take care of us, since we born! Most of the time they don't do ther stuff just to be with us! Being a mum is the most difficult full time job! Happy mother's day!
ReplyDeleteShe is absolutely the strongest person I know and I am lucky if I am half as strong. :)
ReplyDeleteIn new zealand mothers day was yesterday. I made my mum and my grandma a homemade card. Me and my sisters all put in money to buy my mum a 99 dollar purfume!
ReplyDeleteWell, I gifted my mom a necklace one week before the actual Mother's day. It was a bit of a funny mistake because there were many commercials on the TV that showed mothers and mother's day concerts and so on. So I called my mom and greeted her and she told me: ''Is it really Mother's day?'' and I was like ''Yeah!'' and felt like I was the only one that remembered. One day later, I was so embarrassed, knowing that I was a little early... but I still don't understand why there were Mother's day commercials and a Mother's day TV program one week earlier...
ReplyDeleteI feel grateful to both - my mom and my dad for having me. I was not an expected child to begin with so I sometimes remind myself that I am in this family for a reason. My mom was really happy about the present but she told me that presents don't matter. it can be just a kiss on the cheek, just a flower picked from the garden... anything, just as long as you remember your parents and talk to them or give them a call. I think I've realized this ever since one of my siblings just moved away to a different country to work but hasn't called for 6 months and pretends that everything is okay, ignored messages and so on. It's important for parents to know that the children remember and care for them.
This is very interesting, actually. I was in a different country one week before Mother's day and I think they celebrated it a week earlier and I was so confused when I found out that it was different. I am glad I didn't fail and it was just a little lack of knowledge, haha.
ReplyDeleteAww so cute!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! xx
ReplyDeleteThank you xxxxx
ReplyDeleteThank you :)
ReplyDeleteThat's great!
ReplyDeleteThis is awesome. Those little moments of life when we catch ourselves reflecting like mirrors the person who is the best in the world... :)
