WOW!!! "Thief" Alert



First of all, i want to thank miss_mainona for letting me know about this!!! I'm so pissed!! 


It seems that someone is using our blog banner on another blog!!! Isn't that just annoying??

    little kids kill me when they try talk about copyright as if they actually know what it is. You have to have legal representation to sue for CR infringement

    You're only giving yourself a greater chance of being deleted off Stardoll, she done nothing on there to be deleted for. That's just low if you try do that.

    I honestly have to agree with what Wooldoor and ebonymeme have said. Firstly, it actually has to have a copyright certificate, and well, you need a legal rep to sue.

    I don't really like these posts on SMW. Sorry :( Just I've been around for a long time on here and it sort of turns it in to a gossip blog when it's not. Maybe it's just me?

    And there's nothing you can report her for. Stardoll's T's & C's don't cover blogs we make :S

    OK, sorry, I'm annoyed she copied and all but let me get a few things straight.

    1. Jenna did NOT copyright SMW's banner, and I don't really think she ever would. Copyrighting a bunch of pixels is a waste, tbh.

    2. YOU CANNOT REPORT HER. What are you going to report her for?!? Unfortunately, "Googling Stardoll, copying a blog's image and editing" doesn't come inside the options for reporting. Nor is it in the T's and C's of SD.

    So YES she copied, but NO she hasn't copyrighted it, and YES she's made a mistake. I'd love to see what you guys'd do if you were her and found that image on the internet.

    I'm not siding with her. It's just annoying me that everyone's judging her, and also the fact that a) half of you are reporting her for nothing and b) you're acting as though she's copied an idea that actually is copyright in the real world. You know...the universe that exists outside of Stardoll?

    I don't think it's necessary to get all worked up about this. There are LOADS of blogs that copy other blogs pictures, even posts word for word. Most of the blogs that copy like this and don't give credit will not be very successful. Making this post just gives her blog attention.
