Thanks to Filipinhamaria, xxlovexx and anaKonda for the tip.
Stardoll has created a "Hands" feature on our MeDoll's beauty parlor, which allows us to decorate our nails. I'm guessing (and I think it's a pretty good guess!) that it's because of the Sprinkled and Polished stores Filipa posted about yesterday.
Also, if you hover over your MeDoll's hands in your suite, it zooms in (see below).
What do you think of nails on Stardoll?
Should they even be there if our MeDoll's hands are all curled up?

2. You can't see it at first you have to zoom it...
If you look more carefully from the distance, you'll see that your nails have some colour (if you used red nail polish, they will be red). Pretty cool, right?
ReplyDeleteAt least you can zoom in on the hand and they can be seen clearly at that point. Wasn't sure how Stardoll were gonna pull it off but they did it. Love the henna designs
ReplyDeleteThe zoom pop-up is the most annoying thing yet that SD had done. I like to wear bracelets, and it's taken me these two days to figure out how to do it with that stupid zoom not letting me put them on, or if I manage to get them on, I can't take them off.
ReplyDeleteHere's the trick: Your nails/hands must be clean--no polish or hand decorations--before you can put on any bracelets near your hand. Then, when your finished dressing, go put on your polish, etc. And then when you undress (that is, want to take off your bracelets), you'll need to go to the salon and take off all the nail/hand stuff in order to make the zoom not work again so that you can take them off!
It's so annoying to have that zoom pop-up EVERY time your cursor goes near your hand. I'm already over it.
And why can't we put this polish on our toenails? At least we ten of them showing on our medoll!
I would like to see SD modify the medoll's hands so we could see them a bit better. I would also like to see everyone able to buy the new nail decorations and polish. I would like to be able to use the hennas and the sprinkles on other parts of the body as jewelry and such. You could use two of the sprinkles for earrings for example. Now that would be terrific! Think outside the box Stardoll!!!

ReplyDeletei love them and have purchased some but i don't see the point, you won't see the nails until people go onto your beauty parlor and see it. i think they should have a "poses" option where you can choose how your medoll stands in you room, it might be easier to see them =)

ReplyDeleteI thought so too, but then I realized that the clothes would have to change to fit the new pose, and that would be difficult, if not impossible, for Stardoll to accomplish.
I think we should have more poses in our suites so show off our nails more. :)
ReplyDeleteColours are a good idea but i think the rest is pointless because you cant see anything without zooming in on them.Toe nail polish would be pretty good considring we can see all of our toes.
