Stardoll - Spring Surprises




So that means over a 5 week period each 20sd = 1 gift.

The gifts are unlocked randomly ,  does that mean some of us will end up getting the same gift twice?

And the people who get ALL 25 gifts will get a 5sd refund for each purchase that that reach 20sd. Does that mean we only get a refund for the first 500sd spend over this 5 week period? What happens if we spend over 500sd during this 5 week period?

    the Gift-O-Meter comes always after LE to take our remaining money. But we had recently a Gift-O-Meter so, it comes with a new name. X(

    You get a random amount of gifts per 20SDs you spend. I got 3 for 20SDs. :-) It's confusing how stardoll worded it. You could get all 25 in one go if you was super lucky.

    I think stardoll has made a mistake because i bought 4 items for 20 sd and i got 4 gifts...Maybe you need to spend 20 sd on some items and you get as many gifts as items you have bought...

    I think that number of gifts you get isn't random, I guess they count money you spent on LE yesterday too, you just need to buy anything for 20 sd today and you will get all gifts if you had bought a lot LE yesterday, I'm not sure about this though. :)

    i spent 500 sd and got back only 25 sd !!!!!! whats the sutpid thing omg...why i only get this money ?? i thought i will get 5 sd frm every 20 sd omg....I AM SOOO ANGRY !!

    On my second account I spent 28 and got 8 gifts, including the free items they offered with the Summer Pass.I got a tassled bag I really like.

    OOKAAY THIS IS PAYBACK!!! I think its a glitch I just spent 23SD and got 7 gifts! So I say go for it! I got 3 pr of shoes some ugly pans ugly coat a nice denim bikini and a cute purse...

    Que? I'm confused about the money part. So if a person spends a total of $42.

    That's 100 sds a week! It is definitely a way to get us to buy superstar memberships or add more sds. The clothes are nice, but I kindof hate these "great" offers.

    Aww, I really like some of the clothes haha.
    But I already spent most of my play and earn this money.
    Idk if there's even like $20 left :/
    My plans for this month were to buy random things I've always wanted lol.
    I don't really need need anything from the Starplaza (except for a few things from Otto that I still haven't finished buying lol).

    But idk.
    What if I like buy $20 worth of items in the starplaza throughout the course of 1 week, using play and earn money, and I get like an ugly gift.

    There are some specific things I would like, but there isn't a guaruntee that I will actually get them.

    I just hope that soon these items will be sellable in the bazaar, so I can just buy them later lol.

    Its all very ramndom but I was happy they counted the $1800 I spent in LE store yesterday... I got all 25gifts 60diamonds (not sure what imma do with all those diamonds lol) plus I got stardollars back... I was very happy :)

    I wasted $135 sd on Antidote (the old collection, which is *still not sold out people*!) and got basically all the gifts. :) It's worth it, love the glitch haha !

    If you are planning on buying stuff anyway its a good thing. If not then well, its pretty obvious that it is a way to get us to spend SDs. 20SD per gift is a bit high in my opinion. I agree with iremsu-alara that 10SD would be more reasonable.

    i gave out 8 sd and then i found round about 20 gifts or 25 in my suite
    if you dont believe me have a look in my closet they are at the beginning and the bags and shoes are in my shoe closet

    Whole this "Spring Surprises" thing irritates me a lot. I spent some money, received some gifts, but no diamonds (and no Stardollars back.) From what i've read, some poeople get all the gifts at once after spending just a small amount of SD and som get nothing. I am confused - how's that possible? Is there any glitch or something? I thought that stardoll would at least give us more information about this campaign, but no.

    I'm so pissed off right now...it was obvious to me, and to a lot of people, that once you reached the 500sd spend, you got 5 sd back for every 20 you spend, that would be 125sd once you got all the gifts...not only the fucking collectible item is an ugly ass diamond, but also, I only got 5sd after spending 500 fucking sd! WTF man?!?!
    so, my conclusion is that stardoll has, as always, lied to us, those fucking idiots, making us believe that that was going to happen, when the real thing is that we will get 5sd back for every 20 we spend AFTER reaching the 500 and getting all the fucking gifts...
    well, you know what, stardoll you can all kiss my fucking ass, you maggots!
    and on top of that, all these people who spend like 10 sd and got all the gifts, fuck you!
