born 5 January 1972, often referred to mononymously as Sakis, is a Greek musician, television and film artist, businessman, and former pole vaulter who is one of the most successful and influential entertainers of all time in Greece and Cyprus. Beginning a career as a member of the national athletics team, Rouvas commenced a musical career in 1991 and became one of Greece's first pop performers; widely recognized as the genre's main performers to this day, he is credited with breaking cultural and generational barriers and aiding in the popularization of Western music genres in Greece and Cyprus.

 
Inside his life

Sakis Rouvas was born on 5 January 1972 in the village of Mandoukion, near Corfu City the island of Corfu, the eldest son out of four of Konstantinos "Kostas" Rouvas, an ambulance driver, and Anna-Maria Panaretou, a retail clerk at a Duty Free shop at the local airport.
At the time of his birth, his mother was still a teenager. He has three brothers named Billy (b. Vasilios),Tolis (b. Apostolos, 1975), and Nikos (b. Nikolaos, 1991).

    III fucking hate him!! i hate his music i hate everything about him! i'm from greece by the way but i freaking hate him!!! I HATE HIM...sorry guys but i'm sooo angry with stardoll -.-

    I don't know him at all, I suppose he is quite good looking though. And ignore whoever said they don't like you writing as though you are that celebrity, I loved it!:-)

    As I keep saying, I would never have heard of him if it were not for these posts. Because I never pay attention on Stardoll when they advertise their latest celebrity doll.

    It's interesting how strong feeling are about him, one way or another!!

    He performed at the eurovision song contest in 2009 and he also comepted in 2004 i beileve,his song for eurovison 2009 was This is the night.

    He has represented GREECE in Eurovision song Contest in 2004 with the song : "SHAKE IT" and 2009 with "THIS OUR NIGHT" he 's got the 3d and the 7th place!!!
