Thanks to Nordwalde for letting me know [:
Stardoll has, once again, created a feature in the hope that it will convince more of us to buy a Superstar membership. You can now change your skin colour completely with a colour slider. I think this is a cool idea, although I'm happy with mine as it is :D I guess people can try and match it to their real skin colour if they can!
They could've made it non ss -.- Very unfair
ReplyDelete^ Agreed
ReplyDeleteBut I Like It
I haven't noticed this...yeah,I agree, this feature could have been made for nonss too
ReplyDeletePretty cool, but absolutely ridiculous to be ss only.
ReplyDeletewow great :O i love that :) but its really bad that its just for ss :(
ReplyDeleteFunny...there's an option I never missed!
ReplyDeleteIt would be more interesting if I could turn my Medoll dead purple or "Avatar" blue :D
I was OK with the basic skin tones but this new thingy is really cool :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for letting us SuperStars know about this. I agree that it's just plain stupid not to make this available to non-SS.
ReplyDeleteOn the one hand, when you PAY extra for SS, it's good to know that you're actually getting something for your money. On the other hand, it makes for bad feelings ALL THE TIME when non-SS girls have so little from which to choose. The worst is that non-SS cannot buy ANY makeup and that is just NOT RIGHT.
Sometimes I really wonder what Stardoll is thinking.
Oh, and I totally agree with anaKonda about wilder skin colors. It's a FAB idea. What fun that would be!!
ReplyDeletesick! ill be using it straight away!
ReplyDeleteI like this new feature. but, they could've made it non ss too :(
ReplyDeletePfh, only for ss
ReplyDeleteBut cool anyway :DD
ReplyDeleteThat's good!!
ReplyDeleteI agree with AnaKonda
ReplyDeletewhy is it for superstars?!
ReplyDeleteTHAT'S NOT FAIR!!!
ReplyDeleteI like that :3
ReplyDeletei don't think it's the best that superstars can get xdd i don't like this
ReplyDeleteWOOW THAT'S GRETA I WILL TRY=)
ReplyDelete.. mmm but yeah that's really unfair for non ss but of course it's a business and probably worth ti=)
ReplyDeleteYay! I'm not yellow anymore :D :D :D
ReplyDeletei unnderstand why its ss only, but it is unfair
ReplyDeletehmm should have been for non ss too :/ It's not that great tbh..
ReplyDeleteAnd anyway I think the skin colours were okay anyways.
Thank God. It's awesome.
ReplyDeleteI think its not fair it should also be for non ss!
ReplyDeleteIt's good for people who want pale skin, but otherwise, not really worth it, and why only SS ?
ReplyDeleteI really like it. Now I'll be able to find a skin shade that doesn't make me look too pink. :-)
ReplyDeletethat's a cool new feature . Stardoll sure likes changing stuff around now.
ReplyDeleteIt´s unfair that´s only ss -.-
ReplyDeleteBut I totally ♥ it (:
It's a great change, but it should be available for non-ss --'
ReplyDeletewhat?!! that's so unfair!! why they did not made it for non-ss i always been waiting something like that!!
ReplyDeleteWish it wasn't just SS! very unfair. Bu I am actually quote good with my skin colour. Although I wouldn't mind making a bit more tanned! Haha. I think there might be sOme skeins creeping around!!!! Haha <3
ReplyDeleteI meant there's would be like green & blue peopl e and stuff! Haha
ReplyDeleteThis could be a cool feature. Say you wanted your Medoll to have a tan for a certain look. You could do this now. I do wish it was a feature everyone could use. Its the kind of thing that shouldn't be limited.
ReplyDeleteAhh.. SS only. ;(
ReplyDeleteI'm so mad dabout stardoll.
YES!
ReplyDeleteThey're not that great
ReplyDeleteI really like this idea but it would have been better if it was for non-ss aswell !
ReplyDeleteIt's cool, but you can't really get a good pale skin-tone without it looking pink.
ReplyDeleteBut I find it extremely fair that it's just for SS.
ReplyDeleteThink of it this way;
Non-SS is a normal experience
and
SS is a premium experience.
So, Non-SS can get all the basic skin tones, mouths, face shapes, eyes (and there is a lot of eyes) and noses, etc,
and SS get premium face shapes, premium mouths, premium eyes, and premium skin tones to actually make you paying the money actually worth it.
Tbh, Stardoll aren't going to take time making a new feature like this, and it must've taken a while to make that feature, to not make any money from it.
This is just my opinion, but if you want to get these features, pay for the membership.
i wish it was non ss, but im fine with mine just as it is!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea ansd I can't wait tot try it out, but it should be for everyone...
ReplyDeleteI think that this was unnecesary, but fine. :B
ReplyDeleteThats REALLY cool update...but can some updates be for non SS too?I'm SS now,but I think stardoll add some updates for non SS too =)
ReplyDeleteYES! FINALLY!
ReplyDeleteAND NO!
WHY WHY WHY MUST THEY DO IT WHEN I'M NOT A SS ANYMORE? :'(
ONE OF THE THINGS I'VE ALWAYS WANTED WAS TO HAVE TAN SKIN FOR MY MEDOLL.
MY MEDOLL HAS LIKE SKIN WHICH IS MY COLOR IN REAL LIFE,
WHICH IS SO FUCKING PALE. LOL.
NOOOO! :'(
AHH, I REALLY WANNA BE SS AGAIN JUST FOR THIS FEATURE.
It's pretty cool. I can finally make my medoll as pale I am am.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't be superstar only for that ¬¬
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteOmg that's cool
ReplyDeletetoo bad its only ss...i wont became ss only for some new skin colours and new hayrstyles...
ReplyDeleteCould have been for every medoll as it's basic.
ReplyDeleteOoh, I like it! :DDD
ReplyDeleteIts a ugly thing that it is ss only but as u siad, I like my original skin color better !
ReplyDeleteThe change is a good ideea.^^
ReplyDeleteI like this new feature! I wish they would spend less time on this and more time on the clothes & interior, though.
ReplyDeleteOh, and the reason why they make some things SS and others not is to make more people want a membership. The more you give to the superstars, the more the non- superstars will want to upgrade.
ReplyDeleteI am so happy about this! I am totally changing my skin color permanently now cuz it can match what I look like. I am so psyched for this!!!
ReplyDeleteWow... this is so unfair.
ReplyDeleteIt should be for non-ss.
ReplyDeleteI'll just call stardoll racist and be done with it.
Only For Superstars Again, No Surprise There Then! But Again, It`s Unfair!
ReplyDeleteEither Way, I`m Happy With My Medolls Skin Tone.
Rab92.
its quite cool, wish it wasn't ss though!
ReplyDeleteI hate it, this makes graphics so much harder =.=
ReplyDeleteI wish i was superstar -_-
ReplyDeleteI love the idea(:
ReplyDeleteIt would be nice if it was available to non-SS too.
This is so awesome but it would be better if it was non ss ...
ReplyDeleteYes !!! it's good !
ReplyDeleteI like it ,but it's unfair for non-ss ... But this blog gives us all a chance to be a ss !!! LOVE IT ♥
ReplyDeletethats not going to convince me to go superstar... :/
ReplyDeletethats awfull most items now are ss thats ok i can understand that but ss skin colours and mouths and eyes it s stupid, not ss can t have make up or grazy hair we are very limited and know we are stuck with some crappy skin colours, at least give us two more not ss skins, one more pale-realistic white and a better dark skin
ReplyDeletenot so useful :(
ReplyDeleteThey should have made new hair-styls instead :)
ReplyDeleteI think it's great to have this cause now we can be even more original in the creation of our dolls. :) But I think it's really unfair that it isn't for NS members... :(
ReplyDeleteOhemgee! Yay!
ReplyDeleteWooow, great! I used it right now :)
ReplyDelete-Christine
i like the idea but i think it should be open to everyone - not just superstars.
ReplyDeletei love it! only thing is now my bra doesnt match :( xxx
ReplyDeleteI still couldn't find a match to my real life tone, even though I'm two/three shades lol.
ReplyDeleteIt would of been nice like some said to have unusual tones, like purples or blues.
Now only if they can do the same to the eyes. Maybe some brownish hazels, yellows, pinks, blues, purples, etc..
~Saku
Great Idea, love to have that possiblitie (cause I often change skin colour ;o))
