Stardoll and Disney: Disneydoll



From letter received by Medy2000 stardolls replied: Yes is true, but you have nearly 2 years. 
Stardoll change is in december 2012. 

Sorry but i leave it without comment. I can't imagine play on Disneydoll.

    I would stop playing Stardoll if everything is Disneyfied. I like the avatars the way they look now. I do not want to be a Disney princess! If they make a separate game using the Stardoll engine to make a Princess game and leave Stardoll the way it is, only making changes approved by the membership I would be ok with it.

    I doubt that's true, since Disney being a big company WOULD NOT give out info like this before everything was 100% SURE. Also, Stardoll is a trade mark. Changing it to Disneydoll wouldn't be worth the money they bought Stardoll for. Otherwise they could just make their own site, and many people would start play on in anyways (it's DISNEY).

    I've searched the whole internet for the Disney news forum but haven't managed to find a thing. I also think that if this had been posted on the 20th, we would have heard something-especially on the Official Stardoll Blog or Starblog-and we wouldn't have heard it 9 days after the posting. So I'm somewhere in the middle. I've contacted Stardoll on their email address and via Stardoll, so let's hope it aint true.

    Oh yes Disney is intrested in Stardoll, ofc cuz it's so big! And yes, Stardoll would sell the site, they would earn many millions with it. But Disney would not change the name and the whole concept of the site if they'd pay millions.

    (For example check CLUB PENGUIN out, it was sold to Disney and the site is better than ever! Not that I think Stardoll will be sold, it's not true.)

    I don't think it's true. I mean StarDoll will lost a lot of money because Disneydoll will be for little girls. And HELLO! Little girls aren't playing on computer as much as teens. They stay with family and they spend most time playing with REAL dolls, not Disney dolls from computers.
    And we won't die in 2012 ;) I read that we'll change from 3D to 4D or something like this and we'll get some powers (No, I'm not crazy or insane).

    Girls do not know if you heard the news, in less than a year Stardoll will be bought by Disney which will make a site dedicated to the Disney Princesses for girls!
    All Stardoll is in turmoil, however, I'm there! How many of us girls, especially those over 16 years, will remain on a site that incece that fashion will dress up princess?? (with all due respect and consideration that I love, but it is not a site like this that want to participate!)

    It's not true, I messaged Customer services and they said it is a rumour and whoever passes it on will be deletd from stardoll. Also, It was on Callie.Stardolls presentation that they are not selling stardoll. And, can't you read that it says DECEMBER 2012! The person who first started this rumor has written 2012 to scare us! like, people write the world will end in teh year 2000 and it didn't then, they said that the world will end in 1998 and 1971, but it didn't s don't believe this! It's not true!
