"Halloween (or Hallowe'en) is an annual holiday observed on October 31, primarily in Canada, Ireland, the United States and the United Kingdom. It has roots in the Celtic festival of Samhain and the Christian holiday All Saints' Day, but is today largely a secular celebration. Common Halloween activities include trick-or-treating, wearing costumes and attending costume parties, carving jack-o'-lanterns, ghost tours, bonfires, apple bobbing, visiting haunted attractions, committing pranks, telling ghost stories or other frightening tales, and watching horror films."
You use to celebrate this day? What was your best costume 'til now?
Happy Halloween! Beware of the witches, ghosts and ghoulies xD
I don't do Halloween, but we do get the trick-o-treaters. My fav. one was last year, some girl came dressed as a vampire, and had a shirt saying "I'm a vegetarian" xDD I'm guessing she liked Twilight :D
Well, sadly in Estonia Halloween is not celebrated. We have Saint Catherine's Day(November, 25), when people dress up in women clothes, and Saint Martin's Day(November, 10), when people dress up in men clothes. But these are children holiday. But this year in one club was a Halloween party, so I went there. And I really enjoyed my vampire costume.
I had a vampire costume this year!! I think it was my best yet besides the unicorn one I had when I was little :D But I was SICK so I couldn't enjoy it!! And I'm still sick :[ Oh well, Happy Halloween!!
Happy Halloween!
