Random House and Stardoll Presents: Mortal Kiss

CLICK HERE TO READ MORTAL KISS.

This is just too good! According to our Sister Blog Underneath Stardoll, Stardoll has collaborated with Random House to create an online interactive book for all of us to read! The book will be completed with a map, 27 chapters, and some exciting features in the map.

Here are some pictures, courtesy of  Underneath Stardoll.

And the map:

And according to USD, the first chapter will be called 'Blood in the Snow'. Sounds pretty interesting, the storyline seems mysterious and full of suspense.

What do you think?

UPDATE:

"Mortal Kiss is a paranormal mystery created in collaboration between writers and editors a RHCB and artists and programmers at Stardoll, crafting everything from plot and personas to virtual enviroments, illustrations and wardrobes; building a synergy between the reading experience and the interactive features of the website. Mortal Kiss will be serialized globally via the Stardoll website over an 8-week period from the 6th September till Halloween. The story will deliver 3-5 minutes of reading material daily, building to a cliffhanger every week.

The story will be told through an interactive book and map of Winter Mill, a fictitious town in New England. The four main characters (Liz, Finn, Faye, and Lucas) will have character Stardolls, complete with profiles and outfits to dress up in - all drawn from the events of the story. The main story hub will be the place for Stardoll users to catch up with Mortal Kiss, gathering all the events into one central locale and providing back-story as the mystery unfolds."

  2. I'm very lazy too xD
But if you look at the map there is a magnifying glass where we can read a bloody inscription, that's very worrying!

  12. The picture of the sign that says "Welcome to..." and has the population number crossed out, well that reminds me of the homecoming? dance episode of Pretty Little Liars.

At the very end, A crossed out the last number and wrote one less number. It scared the shit out of me haha. lol.

Well, this "Mortal Kiss" thingy sounds kinda interesting, but if it's something scary, count me out of it lol (:

  16. I saw that in the first page and I clicked it. I think it's supposed for us to solve the case while we read the story line?

I bet so, cuz i'm too lazy to read it.. i can't read stories in a monitor cuz i wear glasses and while i read the characters seem to change of place and so i loose myself in the story xD

  17. The only book I ever read online was 'Midnight Sun' by Stephenie Meyer which was twilight from Edward's point of view. I prefer reading actual books way more but since this is in short pieces it should be more managable. I like Stardoll and I LOVE reading so putting the two together is perfect for me. Woah this is a long comment.. whoops :P

  20. I found the first hidden message in the snow!

It's below the sign of the town, you click with the magnify glass and it says:

"Strange events are near when the paw prints appear"

It looks like a poem x)
In the Help page it says that the next hidden message appears September, 9th.
