When I logged on stardoll today, I was so shocked, I guess if you noticed you were too -
Callie as CoverGirl?
So let's count:
699 * 5 = 3495 stardollars FOR NOTHING?
Seems as stardoll becomes just more and more unfair :S
What do you think about this?
Wouldn't it be right if stardoll magazine's writers would be not vote-able?
And why can't they at least make Callie's doll pretty?
Though I guess she won because stardoll has made her visiting new members suite automatically and as the new Play&Earn month started, new members who are trapped in their suites just went to first person who visited them - Callie :P Stardoll really should Turn off Rating for her doll.

You can't block voting on your page, so obviously if she didn't do that, it's because she wants to abuse her power and being voted. That's so mean and unfair ! And I agree, Stardoll staff could at least have better doll, they're the image of the site, a fashion site, and they look like badly dressed people ... We should write to Stardoll to protest.

stardoll is simply not the same. it used to be fun and worth the money, but it's not anymore. i ran for covergirl sometime in july and spent well over 5,000 stardollars in broadcasting cg messages. stupid me, i didn't even place in the top 5! i got ripped off! this is so unfair!!!

I don't think it's fair at all. She's won covergirl a numerous account of times, and she's not even got that a MeDoll which is pretty-I've seen better. But after a while, I've kind of gotten used to how unfair SD actually is, ya know? It's a part of life. But to make it fairer, I think that SD staff members shouldn't be allowed to have their MeDoll voting turned on!

ReplyDeleteThe more I see mistakes from stardoll, the more I get the impression that they are just understaffed. The web site has grown so quickly over the last couple of years and I think they have trouble keeping up. They obviously have someone focused on marketing, because they are always making new deals with different movies and coming up with promotions. But maybe instead of focusing on growing the website, they need to hire more people to work on the daily maintenance. Even if no one is smart enough to disable voting for staff members, there should be someone paying enough attention that when Callie makes CG they can override the automated system and give it to the second runner up.

ReplyDeletePeople that made the top broadcast list do not only broadcast for covergirl they broadcast for other things too. Their total broadcast is the number of broadcasts they've made since they've been on stardoll not necessarily covergirl. People broadcast for starbazaar a lot as well.
