Well as you all know Stardoll is celebrating Ramadan with the gift calendar that is out. Vintage-Glamour wanted to take a moment to tell all of us who don't celebrate this holiday..what it's about. Thanks Katie for this treat!
Hi! im Seda im muslim i live in Turkey.i can speak turkish and engilish.i am fasting now and im very hungry and thirshty.Happy Ramadan Everyone .İ love you :)
Lol, am fasting atm (it's compulsory for me, now) and I have to admit, it's not that hard! The first fast was TERRIBLE (we woke up at about half 2 in the morning, ate, didn't eat a thing until around 9pm!) but the second and third ones haven't been as bad.
Ramadan Kareem! And I think it's a really good idea you're letting others know about it!
Fasting isn't really hard. It is hard at the first days, because we're getting used to it. And it isn't hard because we sleep after dawn, and wake up at 4, 3 o'clock pm :) But I do get really thirsty ;P
thanks for the post .. really I love Ramadan .. it's a great opportunity for all Muslims.. to change to the best, learn how to self-control and to remember that all people rich and poor are equal in Ramadan and to feel what it means to stay without food. so we always should be thankful to Allah.
Thanks for this, I studied Islam in my Religion class and recently had some exams where one section was about Islam. But it was interesting to find out what happens if someone accidently ate something. Ramadan sounds a little bit like Lent for Chritstians but it seems much stricter
Happy Ramadan! This was an intresting post,I like learning about people all around the Globe and how they live and what their cultures are like and there religions! ;)
Happy Ramadan everyone! Fasting, to me, isn't that hard. It's the aftermath that is hard. I get very tired after eating because I haven't eaten all day. But, I like it. :)
tnx for the information. I am mostly eating at nights and always thought, that its bad :) but it seems, that my bioorganism is very similar to Ramadam... I wish u strenght to finish this fast at the end of mounth
Ramadan Mubarak! you forgot one thing about Ramadan. The fasting is not only done to worship god, but also to feel how the very poor and homeless people feel when they don't have anything to eat. Plus it's the right occasion to go for a diet xD
I want to thank u for posting this information , alot of ppl really need to know what's Ramadan , they hear of it but they don't know what it is about . So thanks again for the good work.
Happy Ramadan everyone (:
