Moschino Belt's typing mistake?

Hey :]
Stardoll staff released some new clothes, still no HB dress S:
I think it's nice from stardoll that they made the D&G top for non-ss and just for 4sd [:

Real Life versions, thanks to SeenOnStardoll.

Together with them stardoll released Moshcino belt which graphic just made me laugh -
Do you think it's a typing/spelling mistake? :D
or Is it meant to be like that? :S

Will you be buying it anyway?
As I remember there have been similar happenings - like the Chanel belt on stardoll called CC belt at first was with Chanel logo but after stardoll made the logo to look like O

Also the Chanel No 5 perfume - at first it had same text as original, but by time stardoll ruined it.

So what do you think?
Might it be copyright problem?

  1. I think it's copyright.. I bought the belt, anyway. :D

I'm also glad about the $4 Non SS shirt! I was pretty surprised, because Staroll would normally put it up for, like, $7, SS.

  2. It's annoying that they change things like that..

  3. 3rd comment (:
Well, I like the Moschino dress the most.
I don't think it was copywrite, because, MpSCHNO? Really?

  4. it's definetely due to copyright issues. They do not have they right to create a Moschino belt without permission but they have the right to create "MpSCHNO" belt cause it "doesn't exist"... it's like tribute stores...call something a tribute and you're free to create it without legal permission...:)

  5. Aah. Thanks MSM[: and Ruth for pointing this out!

  6. Hahahaha! I think it's a copyright issue, but why make something when it will turn out silly?

Well it could be a mistake the letter O is next to P on the keyboard so... Maybe it was a mistake. :/

  9. The red/grey dress with the grey fur bag and the grey fur boots isn't moschino. It is also Chanel from its fall 2010 collection...

  10. I think it's copyright, because I remember in Decades there were some items inspired by Chanel with the actual Chanel logo on them and a few days later they either changed it to a circle or made the item blank :/

  11. i'm glad the top is also for non-ss!

  12. It probably is, but even so...they could still find a different spelling instead of adding the random p!! They could have made it an A or I, something more normal than a p!!!

  13. of course IT IS copright cuze stardoll doesnt hve the right to put the real brands name on the designs they make!
but stardoll gives us the chance to wear designers without breaking the rules at the same time!
    :)

  15. ..ermm..& concernning wot MSM said bout the tribute shops...i dont agree; wot i think actually is that they got a partial permission! in otha words, putting the shop which is good for stardoll, but at the same not putting the real brand (cuze this way, a big brand as channel would b ashamed 2 b in a dressup website LOL)!
so yeah...it ws a partial agreement! cuze if wot u said ws right; stardoll wouldnt mind doing tribute shops for all big brands!!!!! :p

  18. Yeah, I don't think they would do such a thing on purpose or posslibly misspell, Moschino. :D Come on. :D I bough it, it's cute. :D

  19. Copyright issues are a very serious thing and I understand they'd change the name. I bought it, even if the name is wrong, it is from my fav brand :P

  20. I think copyright, but I bought belt :)

  23. Definitely a copyright problem. It takes a lot of money to use big brand names. And designers aren't likely to agree to let stardoll use their names outright, because teen girls with little to no money to afford their clothes aren't exactly who they want to advertise to. That's were the "Inspired by" label came from; stardoll is always just barely on the legal side of copyright laws.

  24. yep! it's annoying but i think it's copyright too:)

  25. Yeah, copyright, but at least they could write M0SCHINO, with a zero..

  26. I'm surprised that there was a tank top for Non-SS for only 4 SD, lately Stardoll has been so greedy :/
But it probably is a copyright problem

  27. I dont know.. but I like the top for non-ss :)

  28. Just weird.. probably copyright issues bu that doesn't stop them copying designer dresses and selling them so who knows?

  29. Its all copy right isnt it, thats why they had to change the chanel stuff =[ But they could have least offered us our sd's bk. Imagin buying a beautiful belt from a shop taking it home and putting it in your wardrobe only to find the next morning it had turned into a awful looking knock off! Thats what their doing!

  30. I agree with MSM. They can re-create versions under different names as long as they don't exist...but they still let us know who designed it. That way, they can't get sued for it either. Haha, who knew. Stardoll's actually clever sometimes! (Emphasis on SOMETIMES) xD

  31. i personally love the belt its so chic

  32. Hehe,I think the same about the other doll^^

  33. I had an old Coco top, it used to have an cc channel sign on ot and then they just made it an old top. The top from decades O am not sure if its still on sale

    ReplyDelete
  34. It probably is a copyright problem. they would have to get permission from chanel to use the name.

  35. Has anyone noticed that stardoll is getting more and more lazy and the stardoll useres are making more stuff then stardoll?

For exemple, the SFW, all of the blogs, magazins and comps. that have been recently created and all that stuff, compered with the new stuff that stardoll has brought us, it's almost nothing!

Stardoll really needs to step up!

  37. Omg I really want those grey shaggy boots and the purse!

  38. I think it is Copyright so they changed it. So werid! I dont like it when stardoll changes the colour of the real designs of the fashion today. Anyway, I really love the Non-SS halter! I am so gonna buy it! Thanks for the post!

  39. wow, stardoll is lazy again, hope they fix it soon..

    ReplyDelete
  40. It's either copyright or Stardoll are lazy.

    ReplyDelete
  41. idk really if it's a cpoyright problem but stardoll is supposed to be well .. a legal sight

    ReplyDelete
  42. we know already that stardoll is always making mistakes

    ReplyDelete
  43. It probably is the copyright thing. But you would think they would let stardoll use the name. Free advertising right?

    ReplyDelete
  44. They have to do it for legal reasons, or they'd get sued for infringing copyright.
