Yeah, you're right. I've also been wondering why we pay - at least that much we do today! My first superstar in 2008 cost me 0,3€, now 5,9€. That's why I'm kind of having a boycott against stardoll (not buying superstar)so they maaaybeee might lower the price :D haha, sounds hopeless, but... water drops make a sea, if you know what I mean! :D
