Well, as you all know the makeover is complete...and I am sorry to say I hate it. My presentation is messed up, Half of my best friends are missing..even when I click on my Best Friends and WTF you can only see your last 3 visitors!!! Oh and do I have to mention the GUEST BOOK!!!! What the heck did they do to it???!!! And if you have sent me a message recently..who knows if I'll have the patience to find it...
This is suppose to be better? Why is it that when Stardoll says they are making thing better we always lose things? Now... I have only looked at it for a few minutes, so MAYBE I'll like it once I get use to it, but right now the only good thing I can say is that the colors are pretty. As of right now though.. I am NOT a happy camper.. and I haven't even gotten to Starplaza yet..

I know the presentations get sooo messed!!
I would say that theres a few things that I like and theres the things you named such as the visitors list. I think they could've did alot better with things like that.
I hate the presentation mess, only 3 last visits (wtf?) only 6 bf's and the gb, but all over I think it's really pretty. I found it kinda hard to navigate through at first, but now that I got used to it (well, kinda), I think I like it :) I like the new colours better than the old ones. ♥
i hate it too! did you see what they did to search in starnazaar??? omg - now you have to search through each page over and over again!!!
The colors are fantastic, as mentioned above. Does anyone know how to see all the items in your OWN StarBazaar?
You know I've just discovered that it's true that the penthouse remains open when your SS membership ends...but guess what? They close other 2 rooms that used to be open when you were non superstar!
They have changed this today because yesterday I had 6 rooms open! Guess it's a part of this fabolous makeover.
As for the makeover itself. I like the colors but starplaza look terribly like i-dressup, or at least it has the same feeling =/
I like how it looks just, as you said, i dont like how they've cramed everything together. They say this new layout makes it easier to find stuff but i think the pages are very hectic. Have you seen the 'messages' part i find it hard to distinguish where one message ends and the other begins, i think they've tried to go too minamilist. xXxXx

I’m sorry to say this since you have all worked really hard on the make-over, but, there’s a bunch of people out there who do not like the make-over, and I’m one of them.
We all find it really strange.
1. When someone talks to you on chat it is harder to notice when you are receiving a message.
2. If we have unchecked mail, it’s hard to notice, since, the sign it’s really little, and it doesn’t turn red when we have any notification.
3. I don’t like that new GB.
4. I can only see 3 visits to my page :/
5. WE CAN’T SEND BROADCASTS! :@
The make-over makes the site look much more neat, but it is confusing and it is WORSE!

I dont completely hate it but i am pissed cuz they dont fix ne problems with the site. My baazaar does not show any of my rares because they are "reset" for two years.And of course the stupid makeover did not fix it.They never listen to what we want.I am seriously thinking of leaving again lol.
My presentation with a whole fhuk of special effects got a STRIPED background, so i just deleted everything, though it was literally irreplacable.
EVERYTHING would be FINE if they’d stick to what they said; that NOTHING won’t be CHANGED or even DELETED. Next time I'd please them to be honest, because they caused a big confusion to 50 millions of people.

SD won't work atm because my internet is real messed-posting this from my mobile!-and it looks horrible. I'd hate to see what they've done to everything else. It's awful...everything seems so tiny, it's no longer easy to see at 1st glance whether you have friend requests/messages/guestbook comments etc!!! Our stardollar amount is hard to see, i couldn't find the magazine section to vote for catwalk/designs to get daily stardollars. They took stuff out of splendid and put it in glam'r'us. The comments at the top are small and difficult to see, so easy to miss! BRING BACK THE OLD VERSION!!!

I really dont like the changes. I hate that GB has only 3 visible pages and we can see 3 last wisitors only. Also, messages are messed up, we cannot reply but we have to choose from drop down meny and we cannot see all friends there, my best friends are gone, and my presentation is messed up. Also I cannot see anymore how much stardollars I have earned from sales.
The broadcast only goes 1/3 across the top, and doesn't even show your medoll? UGH.
Also, it's now a TASK to go to someone's GB. Our medoll's homepage is completely cluttered up with the GB, visitors, and blah blah blah.. and I think people's starbazaar's load more slowly.
I've actually mailed stardoll like, 3 times, telling them my opinion. With any luck they'll actually listen to their god damn members and change it back to the original, much better and EASY TO USE layout. It just seems like all the other sites, just a worst version.

The only good thing is the colours. And when I finally got to my album (finally), i saw I could write in Century Gothic, my fave font. I hate everything else. Its harder to navigate. They should have an option where you can view in Pink mode or Purple mode. (old/new). Let's make a petition. Also, I had to delete my favourite part if my presentation because it was messed up.

UGH. There's just so many options lost and IMO nothing really gained. In Starbazaar you can't now search page by page and you can't go further back (there's no search, just new search). Broadcasts are almost invisible (when they were available, that is). GB is no longer relevant.
Anyway, I really believe that most of the changes should have been tested and rated by users BEFORE they were implemented. Maybe this way we wouldn't have ended up with a version of the website which looks better but is missing most of the functions which made it enjoyable, to me at least.
I hate the presentations and that they are all in caps.
And the best friends thing is a rip off. and i hate the layout of the broadcasts.

I agree. I had such a hard time trying to edit my suite and i took soooo long. Went to the Starplaza and I got lost. It looks nice but I have a feeling that we all have to just grow on it...
well, i'm actually getting used to it a little more. But the best friends, the recent visitors, and the guestbook still annoy me. I mean, on stardoll we generally meet new people by going to someones page, and looking at their best friends list or looking at who else recently visited them. Since the update two people have visited my suite, both of them being friends of mine. Seriously? how are we supposed to get our names out and sell stuff if people cant even find us?
But the navigation part of it has gotten easier for me.
can i just say, just because some people don't like it doesn't mean nobody does. don't wreck it for the people who like it by getting it changed. You've got to remember there are 60 million members of Stardoll and most of them like it......
@misscaitlin wellnyou have to remember that majority should always win out. I think many of us have legitimate gripes with this new system and everyone has a right to their opinion and to express it...even if they do not agree with you.
We are paying a lot of money on Stardoll and we have just as much a right to complain.

I, honestly, do not mind the change in general; however, there are several "improvements" that I do not like. (1) The visitors list. (2) The guestbook. (3) The broadcasts. Can people notice the broadcasts at all? Stardoll copied off of i-Dressup.com - it's obvious! If we continue to complain, maybe, just maybe, Stardoll will tweak it up a bit. It is an extreme makeover. Too extreme, actually. As said, I don't mind the change. We'll get used to it. Maybe. Only time will tell. I kind of like it, kind of don't. This makeover is a love-hate thing for me. I don't care for it, though. Oh, well.

The best thing about the makeover is the bigger and brighter pictures. And someone mentioned how the colors are prettier? Maybe this is because the pictures are at higher resolution. But like other people mentioned, you only get to see the last 3 visitors. They should have used a mini scroll down column to show the last 50 visitors to your page, if they were worried about space. They could have used a scroll down column for the guest book as well. I'm happy with it and hopefully I don't miss anyone in the Guest book. The scenery pictures are much prettier being veiwed that large. Take a look at my sceneries! They're sooo pretty. :)

Its pretty but more difficult to operate. I hated it at first though, but i am getting used to it. Of course, I am a bit disappointed with the reduced facilities like the guestbook & the visitors thing (only 3!!!!). Instead of improving them, they ruined it! but considering the look, no doubt it is improved. Unread messages is difficult to distinguish from the read ones. so I WANT it back too!!!

I decided to quit stardoll 2 weeks ago. Thank god. The whole stardoll world is screwed up now. It's all so confusing, and it takes forever to load your suite. Don't even mention the guest book, it'll take you forever to find out how to reply to your messages, and lastly, the chat, it's all messed. Stardoll was fun, now it's crap. Sorry.
