Jenny Amanda Katarina Jenssen born Bengtsson, 12 September 1988 in Lund, Sweden. Amanda began sing and write songs when she was a child. When she was twelve, she decided to become a singer-songwriter and professional artist. On highschool she was a vocalist in different bands, singing jazz, blues and rock. Amanda was lead vocalist in the indie rock band Oh Hollie Neverdays. On 2007 she enter on Swedish Idol that was a popular program in Swedish television and reach 2 place with 48,7 % of votes. After the huge sucess on Swedish Idol she signed with Sony BMG. Her first single "Do You Love Me" went to the top of the Swedish charts and her debut album was "Killing My Darlings". The album got favourable reviews too and sold platinum. After this she had a lot of sucess with her second album "Happyland" that was release on october 2009 and went straight to the charts and in only a couple of weeks sold gold.
