Text "YELE" to 501501 to donate $5 to Wyclef!
Text "HAITI" to 90999 to donate $10 to the Red Cross relief efforts!
Buildings and homes have been destroyed, and thousands of people were killed. If any of your family members of relatives has been living in Haiti, and is still missing, I'll pray for them, and hope that everything will be okay, and that they survived.
And if you are willing to donate, ask permission from your parents first (:
I'm the newest writer for Stardoll's Most Wanted, by the way. Thank you, Jenna!
My girlfriend is also from haiti but luckily it is in Germany so they had really happy but the others do not: (
ReplyDeleteWhen I see the pictures or the parts journalists had filmed, I almost cry; I get quiet. I'm really sad about what happened there. It's even more sad that it is a poor country. Why did it have to happen? :(
ReplyDeleteSuch things happen, but it's still so sad to see people who already have nothing and are already so poor (the poorest country of the world is Haiti) and that now they have even less!
ReplyDeleteIt's probably the worst nature disaster together with the Tsunami in South-East Asia and the earthquake in Pakistan.
I have a feeling that some of these MIGHT be God's punishment to all of us. Lately, there have been wild storms in my country. It has horrible.
ReplyDeleteGod has nothing to do with earthquakes. Earthquakes are caused by the shifting of Earth's plates, under the land and ocean that we can't see. The Atlantic Ocean is actually getting bigger each year. A while back, there was one continent, Pangea. The continents split apart and made the Atlantic Ocean. Now, the continents keep on moving away, so at some point, We will be one continent again.
ReplyDeleteIt is so sad to see the pictures on the news. What happened is really sad and to happen to one of the most poorest countres in the world! :(

This is really depressing :(
ReplyDeleteI hope that people will recover quickly and i'm praying for all of them :(
Did you hear about the 2 small kids they found??? I almost cry everytime I see this on the news. The US has been given control over the Port-au-Prince airport, but hardly any more help has been given...
ReplyDeleteI was shopping today, and there were people holding Haiti buckets EVERYWHERE!! £2million has been raised, but the Red Cross urgently needs more. I ended up donation around £16 in total. I really hope it helps. I am going to see if my school can do stuff to help as well. I feel really mean...I just sit here talking about it, and cant do much to help...
