I am so angry right now! I am in the process of catching up on my prizes. So I go to buy a few $200sd giftcodes and....guess what they are no longer an option!
Does Stardoll even think about their members when they change things???!! The answer is an obvious NO! If they did why would they take away the cheap options for people to gift stardollars to others! First they increased the price and now they are gone completely! They could have at least gave us a warning!
See below in the USA there are now only 2 options for giftcodes. A 6 month for $29 and a 12 month for $47!!!
No more 1 month or 3 month options. I use to use the 1 month for $200sd option all the time for CG, MOTM and other comps! Now what? Short of buying $300sd pre-paid cards or Accessing someones account....there goes any 200sd prizes! Especially for Non-Superstars because the $100sd codes are very limited and would cost more in the end.

That's pretty stupid of Stardoll, because like 2_cutecarla said, they would make more money if they made the other options available. And on top of that, they're being greedy.

They're just losing freakin' sales this way.
And in the UK, a text code costs the same amount of money as before, gives you a mere $5 extra BUT for half the time...so now it costs £1.50 for just 2 weeks!!! That's now £3 to stay superstar for a month and i can't spend that each month for a virtual game, it's just silly! Why can't they either leave things as they are or change things for the better so we get a much better value for our money?!

They should realise that people are much more likely to buy a month's membership 3 or 4 times than buying a 6 month or 1 years membership because it's so much money at the one time. I'm not sure you understand how business is run but it's a customer's right to complain. We do have a lot invested in our dolls so clearly we donn't mind paying for our memberships and stardollars. However, when the company makes it a financial hardship for us to enjoy a pasttime in the way that we've become accustomed to, then we can and should do something to change it. We adusted to the ridiculous prices in SP, I could even adust to the cost of membership going up a little, but taking away the options for 1 month and 3 month memberships is hitting me and many of the child members where it hurts. I pay for my account, 2nieces, and my sister's and the way they are doing things is ABSOLUTELY a problem. Some of the SD members in my fam won't be SS anymore and that sucks.
Hey and what about trial pay? does it still exist or what? Stardoll removed it too :( :'( Not FAIR AT ALL!!!
