This Week on Stardoll Nº25

 This Monday we were surprised by a Runway release, they have always released the brand on Friday (even when the store became non-limited), idk what happened form them to release it in the start of the week. Anyways... This ner Runway collection have 2 floors and a total of 10 looks and none of them are good

I must confess I was expecting a new Pop Shop collection with New Year party themed items, it would be more useful, in my opinion. The graphics of some of these are awful (see the sparkly pants) and the pieces could have been better chosen, the fashion taste of some stardoll designers are really questionable.

I wouldn't mind if these items were released in a regular store with regular prices, cause for a non limited their prices are RIDICULOUS! They should make Runway limited again or drop these prices, lets be honest.

The second release for this week was It Girls, a small number of items and nothing that stands out.

The most interesting piece is the cat shaped bag, this said, I have nothing much to comment on this release.

And once again Stardoll removed a bunch of recent releases from plaza while adding some old limited items for bazar sale. I wish they had done this with very old items that are laying there for ages.

For the last release of the year I was expecting anything but a Wild Candy collection. But we got a 2 floors release, which I can only think in the word "kitsch" to describe it...

At least these sparkly pants looks better designer than the previous one release on monday in Runway... and they're so creative for using to same name for both items!

This Week on Stardoll Nº24

 To start this Christmas week Stardoll prepared a cute Sunny Bunny ☀️ collection, with outfits inspired by xmas decor, like snowman, tree and gingerbread. It includes clothes, jewelry (with bp and suite versions) and a snowflake decor item.

At first, I only liked the snowman dress and white boots, but looking for them with some time, now I kinda like the whole release... Have you liked any of these costumes? I've seen some of you already styled some of these items but I'd like to hear what everyone thought when saw this Sunny Bunny floor.

For wednesday, we got a more formal release in The JetSet. The collection includes some dresses worn by the Jenner sisters, so we already know they were a huge success among the players.

My favorite item from this release was the posed jacket with gloves, unfortunately but not surprisingly, it came with an annoying glitch in it's back piece that blinks all the time like it's a christmas light. The black silk skirt is also very interesting and kinda funny as it made the mannequin very tall, the red velvet dress looks like the chair Santa uses to sit in the mall decor and I don't want to comment on the animal print dress...

A new decor collection came this friday, we received a two floors Winter Peak store.

At same time that I like the items I feel its more from the same, like they always choose the same items over and over again for winter themed decor... Like, we already have some fluffy chairs in the exactly same positions as the ones here and with same colors.

I think if they put some more effort to look for inspirations, they could find some more different and interesting items.

There's a competition on Stardoll Instagram evolving this winter peak, where you have to guess wich item from the collection was made by Vulacano. 

According to what I understood from the post, Santa will send gifts to the people who guess it right 🎁

This Week on Stardoll Nº23

Oh, this week was a good one for the dolls who like decorating cause we had 2 consecutive decor releases. The fist one, on monday, was Sweet Suites and the second, on wednesday, a Callie's Picks Decor.

The Sweet Suites collection consist in two floors, one being a dining room and the other one a living room. I personally like the module sofa, as it reminded me of The Sims 4 dream home decorator pack and how happy I was when they announced that this pack had module sofas lol

But one thing that got me intrigued was the horse painting and how weird his neck is positioned (?), or I just don't know much about horses physiognomy.

I wasn't expecting a new Callie's Picks Decor any time soon, as we had one 3 weeks ago, I think, and again christmas themed and again with items that are still available in plaza in their real brand 🥱

But I must say I bought some of those because the fact there's a lot of starcoin items...

And finally, the long awaited Gift-o-Meter have arrived!

Like every GoM, it have 10 prizes stage, to get all of the 18 gifts (if I counted right) you have to spend a total of 300sd, in starplaza purchases only.

I was very surprised when I saw this year they decided to add an interior there.

For last, and less important, we had a MstQ release this friday.

Sorry if I don't have much to say about it, this collection really got me speechless...

But I know Stardoll is a big community and for sure someone out there liked it, pls let me know if you're part of this selected group of people, I wanna see how you will style any of these items, and convice me that it was a good choice from stardoll graphic designers or who ever picked these items to add in the game.

Okay girls, now the long awaited announcement of the last week Subcouture comp:

So, all the dollies who entered did an amazing job and made it difficult for me to made a decision... So I passed this hard task for a friend of mine irl, because this is what I do when I have to make decicions, I make someone else choose for me (very mature of me, I know)...

She also was impressed by all the outfits but, after a minute of shoock for me still play this game, she decided to take a look and sent me this message: 

"picked these ones based on creativity, even tho all look good, they used in some way the same outfits in the mannequins, which isn't bad but I think this was to create something new or not? I don't understand this game lmao and also this pants looks awful and the dess looks like something I don't know how to describe! is it really a fashion game? anyways I pick this Kathy girl outfit, she did a good thing with the baggy brown pants and the classy lady with the ballon red dress"

This Week on Stardoll Nº22

 People say that it's better late than never, and we can agree on that, as this monday collection was released very very late. 

At least the wait was totally worth it! Stardoll finally released the Après-ski featuring more items drawned by Vulacano, including the iconic Miu Miu set from the SS22.

When it arrived to plaza some pieces had bugs (as usual) but they were quickly fixed the next day, I wish they had fixed bugs in older sets as quick as this... I was also impressed with the amount of items in starcoins as their quality is so good, some even could be in a limited store!

The bad news is that we won't be seeing any more pieces designed by Vulacano this year, he said that he's working in more items to be released only in 2023, I hope it's for tributes season.

The wednesday collection was released in time. A small Bonjour Bizou collection containing some unsurprising items... 

And also there's the fact that the pink shoes were released not long time ago in Millionaire Mansion, as @cecilia heredia mentioned in chat section, the only difference between them is the price, as the BB one coasts 14sd and the one in MM is 16sd.

For friday we were expecting a new Subcouture collection, as we received an add and a message informing about it on thursday, as always there's a 50% more stardollars on selected packages.

I was very excited to see what was coming to Sub Couture, it's one of everyone's favorite stores because they use to bring some great statement pieces...

But this time we got a bunch of weird and goofy pieces, idk who the hell picked the items to bring in this collection and what this person have in mind.

The black puffy coat is the worst among these, in my opinion, it looks like a camp sleep bag and I can't see how someone could make a good styling with it!

This Week on Stardoll Nº21

Proving that they know all the news and everything that happens in the world of fashion, this monday Stardoll launched a mini Balenciaga tribute under the Active store tag. I think that they as company must have a back up plan for when things like those happen, but they couldn't pick a better time for bringing new items from this brand to game.

But anyways... I, personally, don't like Active and I think many other players feel the same as well. And with ugly items as these is clear why this brand isn't a success among us. And I can also point that the boots have zero coherence with the other items here, so I have nothing much to comment, but I'll be happy to see what you have to say about it.

Now, for wednesday they gave us a real release, a new Pretty 'n Love, with few items, I know, but still, they look pretty, cohesive, beautiful... A perfect collection I will say. 💖

My favourite items from the release are the   Ozlana set, I wish they had included the boots, beret, bag and fishnets as well... Hope they can give us more items from Ozlana any time soon, maybe a tribute next season! What do you think about it?

As we already entered in december, it's time for one of the best seasons in stardoll: the holiday calendar time! 🎅🏻

If you revealed the first one you already noticed that this year the prices are a lil bit salty... But I hope they can release some cheap stuff and also some for starcoins.

Also it would be great if they had asked us again on instagram for inspiration items for the christmas decor, like they did last year, I was very happy that they choosed two of the Grinch decor items I sent them and I wanted to do it again this year, with a different idea ofc.

I won't be posting the calendar items here because the main point of it is the surprise 🎁

For this friday, they choose to release a Spectacular collection. 

The glasses aren't a big deal but there are two for starcoins, so it's a chance for you spend some if you have a lot of them... The items aren't out in catalog yet, so I can't say if they have a suite version, as they have in the tag a BP I assume they must have another version as well, I will updated the post as soon as I have more info about these.

This Week on Stardoll Nº20

 Hello everyone, here we are with one more recap about the weekle stardoll releases... 

This time we started the monday with an Evil Panda collection.  It contains 30 new items, one of them having versions for suite and bp and none of the clothes being for male dolls.

I think most of these pieces would fit more properly in a Fallen Angel collection than here, but seems like stardoll don't care anymore for their brands aesthetics and just release things randomly...

I confess I was expecting something World Cup related release for this wednesday, but instead, we got a Callie's Pics decor and it's named "Getting Cozy", may they're already preparing for release the Chistmas collections.

You may have thought that you've seen some of these recently in plaza, and I say you're not wrong! The thing is that these items are STILL AVAILABLE FOR SALE and some of them FOR CHEAP!!!

I used some free time to look in catalog to see which items are still available in their real brands and you can see them above to decide if you wand to buy them or the ones in Callie's

Do you remember that flower crown that showed in the spoilers when MSW started? Well... Now we received it as a gift for participation, even if it was against ours wish, in the MSW.

Now that we mentioned the MSW event, what do you think about the top 3 this year? You predicted any of them would be in the podium? Or you was expecting someone else to be the winner?

To end this week, as some users were expecting, the black friday also came to stardoll and we can buy everything for half price, unless the limited items.

The good thing is that you don't need to rush to buy all at once, as the sale will be available until monday 28th you have plenty of time to check all items in catalog.

It's also a good opportunity to buy items from your wishlist before stardoll decides to remove them without a warning.

This Week on Stardoll Nº19

Starting this week in a full winter mood, stardoll released another collection inspired by the season, like they did last year❄️

The store came with 3 floors and the prices this time are very affordable, unfortunately it's for superstars only...

If there isn't a bug it's not stardoll, so this time the broken item, in this collection, is the girl with black ponny, you can't buy it in store or in catalog. I hope they can fix it, as it's a really cute pal.

I like a lot how them look realistic, but I see that some other people don't like the collection for the same reason, saying it looks creepy. From which team are you?

For wednesday the drop was Stardoll feat., we can't call it a collection as it's composed by two outfits only. All the items in this window were made by stardoll user Vulacano106.

I'm impressed by the quality of this stuff! 

Vulacano started making the Beyoncé Gucci outfit as practice for a uni project and sent it to stardoll, for our luck they liked the design and accepted to add it in game, then he started to work in the KJ Mugler.

Also, I've heard that he's already working in new winter themed stuff ti be released next month 👀

Can't say if it will be another Stardoll feat. window or maybe for the advent calendar... 🤷🏻‍♀️🤔

I wasn't expecting a limited collection so soon, but on thursday they add a 50% more satrdollars 🪙 in selected packages and later that day they add the announcement of that a LE collection was coming.

The results for the MSW finalists were also announced this week. Do you have any predictions of who's gonna grab the crown?

Once again, like in all limited release day, we could see people going crazy waiting for the time the items drop.

I love spending time observing the stardoll community on facebook, there's people desperated for spoilers, asking every minute if they're out, there are some nuts delaing work or school to wait for the store and many more cases like these 🤣

And after a long time of waiting, the Limited Edition finally came out (and I wish that this collection hadn't seen the light of the day!)

The store came with 3 floors, containing 15 looks and only one of these were items for male dolls (this time I think it's a great news for them tbh, as they don't have to buy much ugly things).

The only item worth of buying is the interior, but guess what? It's broken! You can't see it in your interios list, just like the LE interior from the collection released in June...

So far, only 5 items are sould out, we can see this release was a huge success in not selling.

As a consequence of buying anything from this collection we also received this fugly pants as a "gift", just like the trojan horse.

In your opinion, what's the worst piece in this LE? I'm struggling to pick just one! 

In case you liked anything, you can also say what's your fav item, I promise we won't judge your fashion taste, I confess I bought the black metallic boots, even thou it looks odd...

This Week on Stardoll Nº18

 

Stardoll started this week with a pretty winter collection. The new release, under the Nelly tag, have a total of 7 outfits (with 3 shoes only), all for female dolls.

I immediately bought the blue cropped cardigan and the black winter boots, my favourite items from this collection. I'm a bit concerned about the possibility of them removing the newest items again...

On wednesday was time for a new Voile. The store came with two floors, the items once again exclusively for female dolls.

At this period of MSW I was expecting something more fancy for a Voile collection, with long and glittery dresses, but was surprised with some basic items, like pink and black shorts...

The top with puff arm outstands in this collection, in another hand the black leather boots looks like it was designed by a 5 years old child, I wonder what happens with their design team, cause sometimes they make wonderfull stuff and the others I preffer not comment 🤐

We also had the announcement of the MSW semi-finalists this week! Which means this competition is now closer to the end and we'll finally have peace in ours guest books 🙏🏻

There's nothing much to comment about the semi-finalists as they are basically the same from the past years (and some dolls that logged in 2 weeks ago).

Btw, if you look closer this banner you'll notice they used the 2021 sash in the add.

Now, let's keep talking about MSW cause, for a miracle, we received the items that were glitching our rooms and beauty parlors.

When you open the bags in your room you'll receive two MWS 2022 tops (one for male and other for female dolls), one pair of eyeshadows and one lip, both in pinkshy color.

As you can see in the pic, the makeup items are bugging, but it's not surprise. For beauty parlor we also got a pair of eyeshadows and lips but in a red color. I kinda liked them...

As the last release for this week, stardoll preparei the cutest Furry Friends collection featuring dressed dogs (and one pig 🤷🏻‍♀️).

If it was a competition, the dog in pink dress and hat with a wig would be the winner! 😂🥰

I've an impression that I've seen some of these dogs pics before on internet... Wish they had included the Chihuahua Chloé cause she's iconic!
