Hey, Shar here. I'm going to talk a bit about Starbazaar and sales.That's one of the great things about being a superstar; having the opportunity to have your own sale and buy from other sales. You normally can find great bargains for this, but when looking through Starbazaar, I wonder "why do people put ordinary items higher than their original price?" eg. original price: 5, selling price: 20
I don't get this, unless it's a hotbuy or rare or something. Take a look at this:
Original price - 7. StarBazaar price - 57. Now is it just me, or is that completely baloney? Why do people do this when no one in their right mind (and with good sense of shopping) would pay 57$ for an item that used to be 7$?? I apologise if you are one of the people that do this. Here's another:
It's $25 more than it's original! Sure it's a cute top but I'm certain you can find the same item with a more reasonable price right?Why do people do this? For a high amount of profit? What profit do they get if people refuse to buy it because of it's price?

i completely understand what you mean. when i was looking in the strbazaar i saw the pink legwarmers twice. one was 2sd - the prices you'd expect. the other was for 27sd. i really dont undersand why people price things so high unless they're really worth something, people just won't buy them!
I must agree!!! you are totaly right. I wonder why people do it? or maybe there are people who actually buy overprized clothes? I put my clothes on sale usually around the same prize I bought them and I always sell something!
ahahah and think about the people who spend about 1000 sd for old dkny,if u're lucky u can find them for less than 60 sd..

I agree. It's the same with rares. I don't care how rare they are. You initially got them for free or paif 6 or 7sd for them and now they are selling theses pixels for thousands of stardollars. Someone contacted me about like the dkny hearts blouse and wanted like 3000sd for it others 5000 for a lottery dress. I think that's ridiculous. It's why I hate bidding on stuff because there is always some ridiculous fool out there willing to pay those amounts. Well I guess if they want it that bad..they can have it.

They think when they put it up high, they get more profit. The only thing they think about is money, money & MORE MONEY! [Sorry if that`s rude to anyone.]
If they really wanna throw out some items, just sell it for $2-3. Sorta like a `donation`, right? ;]
If I were to be a superstar, I would definitely buy clothes that are less than $10, or maybe up to $20 or maybe even $30 if they`re like rares or vintage items.
Tho DKNY, HB etc are exceptions. ;]
Nevertheless, when I was a superstar, I bought clothes thru the starbazaar using the search function.
I purposely chose the prices within $2-3 & y`know what? I got loads of bargains! That`s a tip.. from me!

I defenetly agree with everybody.i always search for clothes not more than 10$ even if it is a hb or dkny...you just really need to be lucky :)cause once i bought orande dkny purse only for 4$!!!i am sure that on sale you can earn some money too because i try to find relly cheap things and then sale with adding 1-2 stardollars,so it helps you earn money :)
I don't understand why people think that they would waste their money doing that. Yes, the clothing item is no longer availible in the Starplaza...but that doesn't mean bump the price 20 Stardollars!! I could deal with bumping it up 5 Stardollars...but 20 is ridiculous!!
I agree with u totally some people are really crazy. they only think in earn stardollares. Nobody will buy tht clothes for tht price. Filipinhamaria on stardoll.
Here is a perfect example.. nothing against Leenabaleena because she seems great, but she is selling her dkny leather shearling. She contacted me and I guess many others to make a bid.

This is just for 1 jacket. 3000 is more than $40 real money for a pixel! It's not that I can't pay that much it's that I won't. I guess I will just be happy with the rares that I have. :)

and i can understand when ppl are selling their clothes for 1-10$ ("bad" clothes) but not for 20+ !!

When I'm browzing through the Starbazaar, I see some items for totally ridiculous prices. I do not understand why the sellers must think that it will sell.
i no its really not fair iether as everyone has to sift throught these rediculosly priced items.
Oh tho some people may put them up as part of a trade which is fair enoff :P
And as for high prices like 3000sd for one item... id rather spend the money on real clothes! x
The thing is with rares and dkny, many collectors don't even where the pixel clothes they buy for such a high prize. In a lot of cases, they just sit on display in a showroom in their suites.
lol I was so lucky I searched back for 20 - 30 stardollars and there was dkny flannel jacket for 28 stardollars, I asked for bids and someone said 200 straight away then someone else said 250 lol :L how sad can you get, im a bargain hunter me!
